  1. They are not deleted but CC usually locks threads more than about 7 years old.
  2. Quantum class ships will likely feel familiar and could be a good choice.
  3. While deposits are listed in their SEC filings, those funds are generally escrowed and can’t be used for anything else (so they are available in case of bankruptcy/liquidation for refunds).
  4. If you are feeling lucky, four hours after scheduled arrival - otherwise, a couple more hours after that.
  5. Yes, though they may not work well when far apart on the ship.
  6. All charges on board will be added to your account and automatically billed to the credit card on file you used at check in.
  7. Like all the other ships - usable, unless you are picky.
  8. Ignore where they put the sentence, you can get price drops.
  9. The current sailing in the app should list that.
  10. Fixed - UDP doesn't usually cover food in bars like the tapas in Vintages.
  11. Not for some time - all dry docks for a while will likely be required work only.
  12. You may need to dial back your expectations - the only thing that will likely get better with Starlink is the latency, which can have a noticeable improvement in overall performance for some tasks.
  13. The GGG flier is only slightly shorter than a couple of months ago - it will get longer again.
  14. For old school sats, yes, but the new Starlink receivers are much smaller, more of them spread out and the norm seems to be to install them a bit forward.
  15. Perhaps they don't have much/any profit from such passengers but running the ship is a somewhat fixed cost thing - they don't save much/any by not having those folks on board. The passengers pay the taxes and most of the time the grats, so RCI can show some revenue instead of none from an empty cabin.
  16. That should be a bit clearer by March next year.
  17. For comparison, on about the same revenue ($3.1 B), net income for the same period in 2019 was almost $900M and earnings per share was $4.20.
  18. MIAMI – November 3, 2022 – Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE: RCL) today reported third quarter 2022 Earnings per Share of $0.13 and Adjusted Earnings per Share of $0.26. Third quarter results were better than expected and above guidance for the quarter mainly due to higher load factors from strong close-in demand, further improvement in onboard revenue and better cost performance. The Group also introduced the Trifecta Program, a new three-year initiative designed to drive superior performance. “Last quarter's better than expected performance was a result of the continued robust demand environment and strong execution by our teams,” said Jason Liberty, president and chief executive officer of Royal Caribbean Group. "The combination of our leading global brands, the best and most innovative fleet in the industry, our nimble global sourcing platform and the very best people have delivered a successful return of our business to full operations and positions us well to deliver record yields and adjusted EBITDA in 2023," added Liberty. "The Trifecta Program provides us the financial coordinates we are looking to achieve over the next three years. As we have demonstrated in the past, we expect the formula of moderate yield growth, strong cost discipline, and moderate growth of our fleet will deliver a strong financial profile." Business Highlights •Load factors in the third quarter were 96% overall, with Caribbean sailings reaching almost 105%. •Total Revenue in the third quarter was $3.0 billion, Net Income was $33.0 million and Adjusted EBITDA was $742.3 million Document (sec.gov)
