  1. Icon, Utopia and future ships should not have that issue.
  2. Some kind of print out (which lists the same thing as the app) may work better with the check in staff.
  3. As has been mentioned, it's a lot easier for everyone to embark with the negative test instead of alternative paperwork.
  4. Look at the self upgrade costs - sometimes you can upgrade for less than the min Royal Up bid. OTOH, most of the time, the min is well below the self upgrade cost and that's just the pricing for that ship - as I said, the mins vary between ships, especially brand new ones.
  5. Availability of all of those varies, though MTD should be the first one - surprised it isn't already. As of now, you can't reserve any shows till on board - that may change in the next year.
  6. Don’t try to find sense with RCI IT.
  7. I would use the free gov't test about a week out to see where I stand. You can test as many times as you want - you just need a negative one to board.
  8. The check in would likely be close to the usual but also as usual you can board till maybe 90 minutes before sail away - you can do muster at anytime under the new system, there's no set time.
  9. The number of non-CC posters who book cruises who know that is about the same as RCI CSRs who may know it - close to zero.
  10. The mins vary based on the ship, which category you start at and maybe some other factors.
  11. Most of the time the numbers RCI reports is for the overall ship number (to include crew) so one has to guess at how many of those are passengers.
  12. Welcome to CC. Unless you got confirmations for the purchase, those are likely pending charges which will drop off in a couple of days.
  13. They don't adjust traditional to accommodate late arriving guests - it is up to the guests to show up at the scheduled time. You are probably lucky you were allowed to go to MTD.
  14. Very unlikely. The fix would be to cancel one of the legs or if they don't realize the error before embarkation, disembark the B2Bers one port early (like Victoria, which breaks the B2B ) and get them to Vancouver the next day. As a last resort, RCI pays the PVSA fine.
  15. The trick to booking the free version of Ripcord is to keep refreshing the app around 8AM - when they usually list the slots. It is usually only listed in the app on that day - so you need to do this on the day you want to go (the port days when it's usually free). Availability should be much better for the paid version.
  16. Hard to believe RCI would let known COVID positive customers stay on board for a B2B.
  17. The SEC filings show 5600 double occupancy berths, a bit less than Wonder.
