  1. The Ukraine guests are officer/crew families who are onboard but have to be shown as guests. All are such lovely people who have been through so much
  2. Snacks cost $6.95 and upwards. Seem very expensive for what they are.
  3. Mine isn’t in so it’s going to be a rubbish January fee all because of the WiFi. Oh well February will be better 😀
  4. Absolutely expecting that and as Azamara seems to want a pre retirement age audience many of them will need to maintain access to work systems whilst cruising- other lines can give that. In 23 years time if I’m still able to cruise my views will of course be different.
  5. I think it all depends what you are using it for. Can’t use it with work systems (but I can on small boats off remote Scottish islands). Do a speed test you will see the problem

    No beach bags

That’s what we did brought a bag and two wallets. I think our bag is the cause of the rumour on onward that “some people got and others didn’t” as we saw a couple of other bags along the way. We were often asked where we had got ours and there was of course the conspiracy theory that as the shop was selling larger beach bags the smaller ones would never appear 😂🎂
  7. Eric had hoped for yesterday but he’s right to take the time to make sure everyone is on an even footing first. We thought Martin did a very good job. Our meal in speciality were good the MDR wasn’t. Badly cooked and not hot, several had this issue, they had an assistant head waiter running around those who had issues - over the top and ineffective - showy with no real change I’m afraid. We missed the served evening offering in Windows - again the food up there was typically lukewarm or colder so we avoided in the evening. I hope the UK guests who were stuck in snowy airports made it. Our flight home today is cancelled so we are scrambling to fix something as we’ve major work commitments on Thursday. Caught between BA who we are due to be with an AA who may take us if BA can reticket I fear those who were trying to fly to the UK yesterday evening may still also be in Miami Hope your cruise continues to go well
  8. Airlines like Jet2 are more reliable than other larger carriers but it’s a big risk if anything goes wrong at the Scottish airport before takeoff. If you booked the flights with Azamara what are they offering? March is still that time of year when weather can be an issue. Personally I’d try and find a work around and go the day ahead. Would Newcastle or Manchester help?

    No beach bags

The bags and card wallets and any comfortable chairs are in the mythical container in Shanghai
  10. Smoke and mirrors been going on for years though can’t happen in the UK. There a sale has to be a sale
  11. Let us know what happens re champagne. Hope you also get escargot and lobster on your cruise. They ran out of 1 mid cruise and never had the other. There were also no yogurts at breakfast last few days so hope they return. Is it they can’t get provisions or they don’t want to pay the price or a combination of the two?
  12. And equally importantly make sure they deploy the stocks. It took the intervention of the F and B manager on Onward to spring the appropriate supplies for the Atlas Bar after the supervisor denying they were onboard. No idea what his game was!
  13. The range of entertainment on Quest Journey and Onward - my experience in the last four months has all been absolutely fine. Occasionally you hit a patch in the evening with nothing on but that’s when 75%+ people are eating so it makes absolutely sense to give the entertainers their rest break then Poolside entertainment depends on lots of things including weather (can’t be too hot or cold) or if in port some places don’t allow it due to noise pollution. Just disembarked today. Weather conditions caused the 45 minute sets to be cancelled twice and there were none in port. Didn’t bother anyone I spoke to. A very large % guests were listening to their own entertainment via pods. That’s the ideal arrangement in my mind.
  14. No difference from pre pandemic fully staffed. Tables are only one part of the consideration the galley is shared between the two restaurants and is v small
  15. Disembarkation started about 0745 and only at 0815 for those who had entrusted their luggage to the ship due to a lack of immigration staff. Not an issue for us at all but a reminder to those who fancy chancing early flights home - don’t!
  16. It’s no better in the Caribbean that’s approximately what I’ve had all trip
  17. You just to hope. We enquired and the answer did not reflect reality
  18. The restocking did not happen DH has been missing some whisky and of course champagne is very hard to find 😞
  19. Onward, they could NOT do that - they were unable to provide several Ultimate Package products even though we had the package . My husband walked down to the Den to get the drink and bring it back up
  20. You have no included drinks in the Atlas Bar. You need an ultimate package to drink in the venue. They also don’t have all the advertised ultimate package items up there. The focus is on the fancy cocktails
  21. Bit of a shortage of sun loungers today on Onward. Shame as it’s the last day and many want to lie out. They’ve removed 60% of the pool deck loungers plus all the under shade seating to put out tables for the officers bbq. Deck 5 is partly closed due to maintenance and of course we have the early risers keeping seats in the sun and the shade. This bag has been sunbathing for over an hour. It’s 1000 and I feel sorry for the later risers. There’s not a lounger anywhere other than on the large piles roped up at the back. You no longer have Pool Butlers and the bar staff are too busy supporting the bbq set up to deal with it
  22. It depends on the wind direction and direction of current where exactly rocks the most
