You sail through these fiords to reach Olden and Hellyest it is simply PO (and Cunard) useless IT done by some one who has no idea of geography or logic. It started when PO and Cunard began to includes cruise by in voyage description. -
Taking food ahore from ship against US law. Once when waiting in.line for immigration sniffer dog stopped by an elderly lady who had taken a banana from the Lido. Banana was confiscated passenger admonished. We had been told in writing and PA announcement not to take any food ashore.Assume this is still the case.

In UK & Ireland all medivacs are run through UK or Irish CG RNLI ALB's or CG helo ate tasked. RNLI LB's carry medical kits and usually will at least 1 first aider crew member on board. Bembridge LB was the nearest ALB. A smaller inshore boat such as those at Cowes & Calshot are not so equipped

Yes QV system is basic gives lat/long course speed pressure and wind across deck. Maps are very basic.

It was a Microsoft programme very informative but prone to seizing up. On one voyage it stopped in Hamburg when we berthed at Altona on QE. Probably programmed 4 the older terminal further up. It restarted several days later when we left Tallin.

Check in times are by deck with IT taking no account of loyalty status. Last year on our 3 QM2 cruises our time was 3.30 each time. We turned up at just after midday and were processed immediately as priority
