  1. The first cruise we took post Covid, we used CVS. We scheduled another for our last cruise, and they e-mailed me about a week before the appointment that the store was closed. We went to Walgreens and it was so much easier to get the results and we have an appointment Thursday for Saturday's cruise. Walgreens sends a direct e-mail instead of a 3rd party..
  2. Every cruise line adds their tip to the cost of the specialty dining, unless you purchased a package or pre booked on line. Then the tip is added to the total cost, but not at the table. If you don't like the tipping, then stick to the MDR.
  3. You can see the construction site from almost anywhere on Cocoa Cay for Hideaway Bay. Royal hasn't announced yet if it will be free or not. If there's a charge, I'm sure the top tier, especially the pinnacles will complain that it should be a perk for them. They "earned" it. LOL
  4. I've been on MSC twice, and never had a problem with shorts or tee's at night. Sometimes they'll inforce no shorts in the dining room for dinner, but that's all. I usually put on a pair of jeans for dinner, then change back to shorts.
  5. Sorry about the date. It was Sepetmber in Alaska.
  6. We were on the Ovation last December on the Ovation. I Fly isn't free at all. The North Star is free for a couple of minute ride straight up and down. To go on an extended that goes to the sides of the ship, there was a charge. I don't think this varies from ship to ship. Reservations are needed for both.
  7. With all of the OP's fears and phobias, I don't think cruising at this time is advisable. There is no way to isolate yourself on a cruise, or anywhere else for that matter, unless you don't move from your cabin, or home.
  8. You can also call Princess and make payment on the phone.
  9. We bring a roll of scotch tape in our carry on, and switch tags when we get off the plane.
  10. For me, the crew incentive would be a positive. In my case, they can eliminate the WiFi. My phone stays in the safe.
  11. A lot more people post negative than positive. We got off the Wonder last month, and the ship was spotless with crew cleaning 24/7. The food, by the way was very good, and Giovanni's was excellent.
  12. It's on the European website. The prices are in Euros.
  13. You are going peak times, so the prices will be higher.
  14. The cruise lines, I believe, require the last shot to be at least 14 days before sailing.
  15. We used Walgreens for a Royal cruise last month, and have an appointment for our cruise next week. They are really good. No charge so far.
  16. I'm so sorry for your problem. Here in South Carolina, Walgreen's testing is readily available. I know the Floeida airports were doing testing at a cost, but I don't know if they're still doing them.
  17. With people using room service more than ever, plus the Covid protocols, I can't believe the OP is complaining about a one hour wait for tea. That can happen anytime, even without covid.
  18. Most kids don't have Thanksgiving week off. Only the weekend. They have Christmas week off,
  19. You booked at a price that was satisfactory to you, so don't sweat the small stuff. it happens on airlines all the time. it can change hour to hour. If the price went up, would you offer to pay the difference?
  20. Walgreens seems to have many appointments available all over. We live in S.C. and sail on the Seashore next Saturday. I went on line this morning to schedule the tests for my wife and me and I had my choice of times.
  21. All the cruise lines are increasing specialty dining and drink packages. It's actually funny. If you book Carnival or Royal, and add their drink packages, Celebrity is usually cheaper unless you add the optional packages.
  22. We're in an SV for the Beyond next December. It doesn't even show on their web site anymore. Sold out.
