I just don't get the method to this madness... Making us wait like this. Not exciting to me but frustrating.

Yes, it is frustrating. but RCCL has staggered their releases for quite a awhile since the expansion of the fleet. The difference this year is that some were confused with the "Phase 1's or Europe & the Caribbean", which was nothing but the Symphony hype & release.
Per the revenue dept. here is the schedule I posted this past Monday.....
Alaska, Caribbean, week of 3/13
Europe, week of 3/20
Australia: week of 3/27

Can't argue with you there, I'm almost to the point of booking specialty restaurants every night. The atmosphere in the MDR is nice but I've been so disappointed with the choices on the menu and then the quality on the last few cruises. We have some success with dinner at the windjammer and it's quick eats when there's stuff to do, so I'm not quite ready to give that up yet.

I'm leaning the other way. I've tried Chops on 4 different ships and I simply will not go back. It's my belief that the specially restaurants are over hyped & over rated. But many actually feel that paying more for something they already have makes their food taste better. I have no issue w/ this or anyone's opinion though. Each to their own. Chef's Table is the only up pay dinner I rave about.

CruiseCal dot com is showing the Freedom out of San Juan for the updated calendar. Keep in mind, this is not the Royal calendar though. The same calendar has no updated info for lady Adventure. So who knows. Perhaps Freedom comes in and Jewel moves out instead of Adventure. I don't see an Oasis class ship moving to San Juan though.
-
Of the half dozen or so ships we've cruised on, we enjoyed the Adventure the most and that was before the re-furb. So.... since we're all speculating, I say bring her to Galveston, our home port. LOL
-
No. If you go to cruisecal.com, then click on itinerary lookup, you can access all ships and itineraries without subscribing.
OK, so I followed the directions and for Adventure, the last date that shows is 4/28/2018 out of San Juan. Am I missing something?

I'd WOW a Certified Vacation Planner right now if they'd take my money and book my 2018 & 2019 cruises. ;)
-
It's going to be a beautiful ship, but not paying the current rates.
This. It's exciting but I'm not a buyer at these prices.

As suspected, I think the whole Phase I Europe & Phase I Caribbean was nothing but hype as the only bookings released were for Symphony. We we're looking for a Baltic cruise or perhaps the British Isles for May 2018. But a Feb 2019 Caribbean cruise too. I finally got through to RCCL. With the Symphony pricing....there are no C&A discounts as the current prices include the promo rate of 30% for all. For a February 2019 cruise, I was quoted $3990 for two in JS, & $2990 for a balcony, which in my opinion is too high. Especially for the itineraries being offered. It's a new ship & very exciting, I get this but we'll wait awhile and let prices come down. In the meantime, we'll enjoy the Liberty until it does.

Thank You... didn't know about these. We would enjoy a bottle of Crown. Perhaps this will be added.
-
Yes, you can.
 Details... please!?!?

I certainly don't see an Oasis class ship in Galveston in the winter, can you imagine the nightmare of a delayed sailing due to fog? One after another?
10 to 14 day cruises would fix this. :D

FYI....on Adventure, Voyager, & Explorer there Junior Suites, #1612 & #1312 that are totally private. Neighbors on either side can not lean around and look in etc. ;)
-
Depending on the WJ size, there are a large number of small rectangular buffet stations that are laid out by design. most are repeat of one another, from side to side etc. So... where does each start? At the entrance of the WJ? Or at the plate station of each buffet of food? If so, which direction? To the left? or does it go to the right? My point is, when in the WJ I don't consider myself a line cutter but rather a buffet eater. I seek & find available stations with food that I wish to enjoy. Along the way to collecting these foods, my being polite & courteous costs me nothing, including my time.
-
If you're next door neighbors aren't around go for it. If they step out onto their balconies and see/hear your intimacy and don't turn around & go back in, then I'd say they're a bit creepy. I mean... there is no way that I step out on my balcony and notice my neighbors are doing the jiggy and just stay there. I'd give 'em a bit of space for awhile. Anything less and I'd feel really strange or creepy.

First Europe stage is scheduled this week. Not The week of the 13th
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
per the Revenue Dept, the schedule as following:
Caribbean, week of 3/8 (although I was told some are being released today, meaning they are or will be updating the website etc as early as today)
Alaska, week of 3/13
Europe, week of 3/20
Australia: week of 3/27
Add to this the 'new' categories going into effect, along w/ the current promo ending, I have a feeling there is going to be a huge mess and some pricing will most likely be incorrect.
Keep your powder dry & ready!

They come out in 2 stages, don't know what's in each one, but I'm looking for Italy/Greece.

This is correct.
3/13 & 3/20
Caribbean 3/8

We did sail away years ago on St Patty's Day. RCL sponsored nothing but there were many that wore green, beads, hats etc.

I was told on the Majesty in October that this was the new rule. The bartender there was kind enough not to open them for me either.
This will seriously "cramp my style" on my Serenade TA since I acquired a horrid habit back in college of drinking cokes instead of coffee in the morning and get my three freebies and save them for breakfasts.
Just earlier today I noticed the great price fora JS on the Serenade TA. And such a wonderful itinerary as well. Wished we could join you!
Enjoy!

No. You're good. Packages are per Sea Pass not per cabin.

OBC - On board credit
OLC - On line credit
Makes for great business.

Brilliance is booked in Amsterdam every 12 days throughout the summer season. She will be homeporting there if nothing changes.
It appears that she will be replacing Vision.
-
Brilliance is listed 4 times in 2018 for Dublin. I am anxiously waiting to see if it is a British Isles cruise. We may cancel our NCL Med cruise as that was our number 1 choice for our next trip.
Brilliance is also listed as being in Amsterdam on May 4th, 6am til 5pm

That's where the real information on this thread comes from. :D
Thanks to the OP and a couple of others.
