No idea I get free laundry on SS because I book a Silver Suite. I have not done a formal analysis of laundry facilities on ships as others appear to have done.

When then I hope everyone enjoys those gorgeous laundry rooms which we were just informed are the "best at sea" -- high praise.

Most ships have clergy for the big holidays. Oceania always did. Not unique to crystal

You don’t need to cut back to include laundry. What did oc cut back when they went all inclusive? how many people do you think would choose a line just because clergy is on board? Low number. Easy to find a church or synagogue as you travel and frankly more culturally interesting

I was terrified of having the ship touch my laundry. for that reason on symphony I booked the suite with the washer dryer. So convenient On our first ss cruise we had included laundry so I gave it a go and I was delightfully surprised. Everything done beautifully Specific instructions followed. Nothing ruined. Then on regent I gave the laundry in without fear. Both lines did an amazing job. In fact on regent when they have the farewell party the laundry staff gets the most applause

They should take a page out of Regent's book Free laundry for everyone Luxury travellers shouldn't have to waste time in the laundry room (although it can be an adventure)

I just googled the brand. Excellent reviews. Particularly good for sensitive skin. Medical grade. I'm on the Moon in 3 weeks. I would be happy with the brand if that is what they provide.

Agree -- makes no difference at all. Might be fun to be surprised. The assignment can never be less than what you are guaranteed.

Dave: for my ss Alaska cruise I am doing my own air because ss is not offering first class. I am able to purchase transfer and hotel separately as package.

The last thing I want to do on a cruise is cook — unless I’m in a cooking class at hot rocks on the moon we never cooked the meal ourselves

We, too, always booked our own business class air with miles. As you all know mileage flights have gotten more expensive (thinking Delta skypesos in particular) and good routes harder to find. Easy to find multiple stops with multiple classes or 40 minute connections which we do not want. SS gave us such an amazing deal from Heathrow to Tucson in business class that I asked my TA to get it in writing as it seemed too good to be true. London to Denver - Delta One Denver to Tucson - Delta First $599 per person Doesn't get better than that. My advice: check it out -- might be a good option.
