  1. We would collect them and eat them at home when we got a chocolate fixation. They taste okay. The main thing I liked about them was that it actually made me feel like I was in a very glitzy hotel.
  2. You don't know that I ignored it. I just didn't write about it. In any case, I still want a refund of the money I spent for my wife's photo package. There's no guarantee that showing them the email and explaining what happened will get me pictures, especially considering my wife was on the Sapphire and our next cruise is on the Royal. I have written Photo Guest Service 3 times; the 4th time I included Mr. Padgett, CEO, to help speed up things. The money was spent in good faith; I expect Princess to do the right thing and refund me my money or give me a package picture on our next cruise.
  3. I disagree. Several years ago, I had an issue with iTunes. Long story short, customer non-service lived up to its non-service name. I mailed the CEO of Apple a letter. I got my issue solved in a very short period of time. (Today, I know how to find email addresses so I would have emailed him.) I've had issues with Uber on two occasions. Customer non-service didn't help. I emailed the CEO. Problems solved. Today, I emailed Mr. Padgett of Princess because I have an issue the customer non-service is not helping with. If you can't find an executives email online, try the following formats: lastname.firstname@somecompany.com lastname.firstinitial@somecompany.com firstname.lastname@somecompany.com firstinitial.lastname@somecompany.com firstname@somecompany.com lasthame@somecompany.com firstinitialLastname@somecompany.com Place one of the formats in the To: field Place the others in the BCC: field The emails that are in the incorrect format will bounce back to you. The one that doesn't bounce back is the correct address. This isn't foolproof but does work quite often.
  4. Just need to add an APK or two. It takes about 15 minutes. On your side note: You boss didn't like your wife? If the boss did like her, you wife would have gotten a non-Apple tablet! (I hate Apple products. They are way overpriced and I hate that Apple doesn't allow the user to decided what to install on his devices.)
  5. I downloaded the app to my Kindle Fire 10. There isn't a Fire specific version. I downloaded it from the Google Play Store. You will need to look up how to install Play Store onto a Kindle Fire. I haven't seen any issues with it yet. Disclaimer: I am not on a cruise yet.
  6. My wife would beg to differ. She loves printed pictures of us.
  7. Minimum dimensions for the 5 pictures are 1800 x 2400. Yes, I can go get them printed at the store or even at home. However, as I said, I spent $89 for the PRINTED pictures. I expect to get my money's worth. As I mention in another post in this topic, my next step is to go directly to the top and bypass customer non-service.
  8. I disagree. My wife was told they would deliver the pictures. They didn't. My next step will actually to be to contact the CEO. This works wonderfully. Uber screwed up twice. Customer non-service didn't do anything. I contacted the CEO. I got compensated. Apple's customer non-service screwed up when my iTunes account was hacked. The idiots wanted my password. Guess what, Customer Non-Service - the account was hacked. I don't have the password. My next step was to contact Apple's CEO. Everything was taken care of in a very short manner Companies depend on people not making a fuss when they are screwed by said companies. I'm not one of those sheeple..
  9. I'm retired. It takes only a couple of minutes at a time to do this. My plan is to send an email as often as possible until I get the results I want. I will also do research to find the phone number I love challenges!
  10. 1.4 mb, 1.4 mb, 1.5 mb, 3.4 mb, and 3.3 mb
  11. It's not so much the cost for printing the pictures. It's that I paid $89 for 5 pictures and a flash drive. I figure the flash drive costs no more than $5; that leaves $84 for 5 pictures. Why should I pay $15 for printing out the 5 pictures? Additionally, one thing I forgot to mention was that my wife said the photo people would get the pictures to her on the last day. They screwed up and didn't get the pictures to her. The only reason I got the picture package for my wife is that she enjoys it. I think the pictures are stupidly overpriced. Although, there was one time when Princess used to offer a package for about $200 that allowed passengers to get a copy of all of the pictures. That was a good deal but I guess that deal will never come back.
  12. My wife was on the Sapphire in November 2022. I had purchased the photo package for her. She got the flash drive with 5 photos on it. She did not get the 5 printed photos like she was supposed to. I have contacted Photo Guest Services regarding getting a refund, the picture themselves, or a photo credit for our upcoming cruise. On 11 Dec 22, the following was received from Photo Guest Service Holland America Group | Serving Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, and P&O Australia: Our sincerest apologies for the subpar service that you received. We have contacted the ship and asked that they locate the photos. If they are unable to we will be providing you with a refund. I did a follow up email a couple of days ago. Still no word back. I also called Princess corporate to see if there was a phone number I called. There wasn't. Has anybody on this board ever got a refund after getting off a ship for non-receipt of photos? By the way, the flash drive my wife got is another example of Princess giving less for more. The drives we got on other cruises were in the shape of Princess ships. This one is just a plain, dull flash drive.
  13. The packages would be worth it (maybe) if only one person in a cabin could purchase it. My wife doesn't drink; I drink very little. It's cheaper for us to prepay tips (we did it before the price increase) and prepaid the soda package (again, before the price increase). I'm the only one with Wi-Fi and am getting it at half price due to me being platinum level.
  14. I agree with most of what you said. The point I quoted is wrong, in my opinion. If a cabin is for two people, there should be two chairs. The club chair would be nice but in any case, the passenger should not have to bring a chair. Would you bring a chair to a hotel room?
  15. Don't really want to buy any. We have 2 decks we won on a cruise. I believe they also had the two prices several years ago. It would be nice if Princess was actually more descriptive. They might get more sales if they did.
  16. The personalizer shows 2 card decks that can be purchased prior to your cruise. One is $3.95. The other is $5.95. I cannot tell the difference between the two. I've noticed this difference for a long time now. Anybody know what the difference is?
  17. This is the one I like. It's not rechargeable but the batteries last a long time https://amzn.to/3W8Ph6B
  18. To be safe, do both - paste into Word or another word processor and request the chat session be saved.
  19. I'm also a tech geek but as may wife and I are concerned, this is the best way to keep track of the onboard activities.
  20. April 2023. We booked about a week before the prices increased.
  21. As an aside, I couldn't see having 4 people in a room that is barely bigger than 200 square feet, including the balcony.
  22. After hearing about the charge to mail the medallions, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they will mail it to me at no charge. I am getting only the medallions and lanyards. If I recall correctly, it seems like there was a message that if I had ordered accessories then there would have been a delivery charge.
  23. Guess it is hit-and-miss. I emailed my information on 1/1/23 and still nothing yet. I'm on the Royal in April.
