  1. This is what I did, too. I also redacted any dollar figures such as the month-to-month comparison and the names/symbols of other stocks on the page with the CCL stock info.
  2. 3 simple words in a Google search bar gets you the page needed: Carnival Shareholder Benefit
  3. A quick google search finds this: https://www.carnivalcorp.com/static-files/50351a91-4dc0-4f6b-bfec-684647e6129f
  4. Even though I do qualify for this special, I'm sticking with standard. As one who drinks very little, the plus or premier plans make sense. (As an aside, it takes me as long as a half hour to drink one drink 🙂 )
  5. Definition of a "tip guilter": A person who tips per so he/she can tell tell others "look at how great of a person I am - I give my poor servants more money so they will serve me better." My personal opinion is that it is NOBODY ELSE'S business how much or how little a person tips.
  6. I'm glad to hear there is still a printed copy of the Patter. I like the online version but it is so much easier to mark up the printed copy. The yellow highlighting never seems to line up with the item I want on my phone. 🤕
  7. I'm on the Royal on April 11. The INTERIOR rates on this "greatest sale" start at about $100 more than what I am paying for my balcony. The same balcony category I'm in starts at $100 more than what I payed.
  8. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get to the San Francisco port from the East Bay, specifically Castro Valley. Have any of you taken ride shares (Uber/Lyft) to the port from Castro Valley? If so, about how much was it, (I realize the fare is very flexible; I'm just looking for a ballpark figure.) What about limos? What about BART? It looks like the Embarcadero BART station to Pier 27 is a little over a mile. That's fine but we are old folks. Would we be allowed to board Muni with our luggage? (I searched for this on the Muni site but the information could not be found.) Thanks in advance!
  9. I booked the 5 day California Coastal for April 2023. My fare was $341 per person for a balcony. Balconies now start at A$498. Interior cabins start at $437. I also noticed that yesterday I had complimentary gifts from Princess. These are now gone. The firsts Princes Prizes Play, Specialty Dining 2 nights, and Premier Photo Package. Looks like I need to call Princess tomorrow to ask about this. I know it was probably a mistake but I'm retired so I have the time to stay on the phone for 10-15 hours! 😁
  10. Mainly the location of public rooms are not marked on the deck plan. For example, deck 9 lists Alfredo's Pizzeria, International Cafe, and The Piazza but they are not shown on the plan.
  11. I've been paying my own bills for decades. I just pay them in a more efficient way. I get an email of each of my bills. All of these bills (except electricity) are paid on a credit card. The credit card is paid off automatically in full each month. I get reward points on the credit card. My credit card sends me an email showing each bill paid. In the decades I've been doing this there has been no problems with me missing billing errors because I actually do see each bill before it is paid. The electricity bill is paid by automatic debit of my checking account. A few of the advantages: No postage needed No checks need to be written (my handwriting is getting worse as I get older) All bills are paid on time I get cashback on my credit card (it's not a high percentage but it's better than a poke in the eye)
  12. Not to be rude but why not wait until you are on the ship to find the channel?
  13. You'd think it was common practice. I manage a small apartment building. Out of 20 apartments, only 2 have automatic payment.
  14. Absurd! I like Aloha, Baja, Lido, etc. Can we say "boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"?
  15. Yea, heaven forbid the crew have a place to relax because their job is to serve the paying passengers and never ever have their own life.
  16. I've learned that it is always a good thing to go to the top if customer non-service doesn't help you. Even if someone else answers, you still get a better response.
  17. These Neanderthals having nothing to do with San Francisco. The only problem we've had sailing out of San Francisco was a certain ethnic group. The parents were idiotic and rude. Their children, however, were polite.
  18. You cannot see into most of the Aloha and Baja balconies. The bridge can see into balconies near the front of the ship. It appears that on the Royal, almost all of the balconies are truly private.
  19. I know I don't. I had been looking forward to free Wi-Fi but am disappointed that Princess took away a reward.
  20. 50% increase on 1 device 100% increase on the 4 devices It's absurd how they raise prices! I was so looking forward to reaching Platinum and getting free Wi-Fi.
  21. I prepaid just so there's one less thing to remember. Plus, I get the cashback on my credit card for this year if I pay before the end of the month.
  22. Go to the Princess site and select "plan a cruise". Under "find a cruise", filter for Sun Princess in the ship selection. Click on view 3 results and you'll see the sailings available. The March 2024 and later cruises are not available yet.
