No judgement here.
Have you priced out cruise line rates?
I really enjoy having the choice.
HAL & Norwegian cruiselines did not allow me to bring on the soda I prefer. Princess still does.
My elite status offers me a 50% wifi discount and A free mini bar set up.
I enjoy using my device & open to all that’s new- atleast I’m still able to enjoy travelling NY WAY.
Ok there was a discussion about shoreside. We left that blank- only put credit card in for on-board ship. Shoreside is when you use your medallion to purchase items at shops in port.
The transfer makes sense for this cruise if flying in the day of embarkation. The port is over an hour away.
Galveston Express has a shared shuttle $35 pp, as well.
We are going 2 days early and renting a car to return at Enterprise-in Galveston.
Enjoy your cruise.
Ok. You are on the regular Princess website. Call them to book or ask questions about offers you are eligible for.
The weekends often have issues when booking online.
I cannot book either or complete a search today.
Well, I sailed on the Oosterdam twice.
Like night & day each time.
Old, bug bite in bed, had package- they cancelled my excursion and none suitable as a replacement they said- would no t let me use excursion credit elsewhere on ship. Can water. No Diet Coke until second day. No bacon for 2 weeks. Food quality suffered a lot. A newer ship maybe much different. TA was like a retirement home atmosphere to us. But hey, I paid less then $900 pp CAD fare plus the package.
Princess has come out with newer ships that will attract families.SUN. Adding:
I was not able to make dining reservations pre cruise. Long line ups. I asked at restaurant & GS and was told we could eat up in the buffet on formal night.
Glad to see others have had enjoyable cruises on HAL like I did the first time.
Excellent experience for us, several times. Yes, it got busy. Go earlier than they tell you. Princess reps are clearly there to sign you in, ticket to board coach, take your luggage. There are toilets, coffee shop and seats.
