I have stayed there many times. Very easy to do this. If you arrive early get hotel to hold your bags. They use to offer a free hotel shuttle to/ from Rome centre. Contact the hotel to see if it is still offered.

Go into personalizer and click on Travel. It has transfers on that page under flights. You can book the date you want. you can also chat/ phone Princess to add the transfer. Get it in writing so you are clear on what you booked.

Just don’t book Specialty dining until you get on board. lots of website, app issues over past few weeks. App let me book included dining for Sun Princess and then removed it a few days later.

So, we will have to wait until Sun passengers start posting about the benefits/ upgrades for the aft D0 cabins. The difference I’ve seen on the app for DMW is it says Reserve Collection rather then Signature Collection for my 5 days in a S9 suite. Wondering if the S9 suite is worth the $254 pp per day more then I’m paying for the D0-aft?

Good point! My Regal Feb 2024 cruise has CG $39 still. And there was a post about Dario the butcher from Panzano Italy consulting for restaurants on the Sun Princess. I don’t see any prices for my Sun bookings yet.

in Vancouver there is a lot of walking to even get into the terminal to check in. If you can bring or rent your own wheelchair it would make it so much easier. We went through there in Sept and the whole family were met inside the door, and staff took care of getting their medallions and they really didn’t have much of a line up- the entire family stayed with her and staff wheeled her on-board. There would be a lot of walking & standing to get into the check in area.

BW- Emerald, extended balcony, midship. No upgrades this cruise. Had this cabin type on Sky and was pleased with it.

You ‘re the smart one I can see them making changes to what is offered on Signature benefits, just like they did to : 18% on SD , room service $1499 fee etc.

Maybe the crew Host posted about in her Live thread will be on the Sun. I am wondering why my DMW says Reserve Collection for both my cruises: S9 & D0- aft. I expected the S9 would say Signature Restaurant.

Do you have one of the aft- D0 cabins? They were more $$$ money then the other D0 locations and said includes Signature upgrades and Benefits.. Mine has Reserve Collection each day in the Dine My Way section

Same here: in a Signature Suite 1st cruise- says Reserve Collection dining. And. In a Premium Deluxe Balcony D0 aft- says Reserve Collection dining

My techie here just got my app fixed yesterday, so I’m leaving things be for now. My Personalizer and summaries are correct and I printed them.

My first cruise is the 5 day in an S9 signature suite- I expect full signature benefits. The second cruise is a Premier Deluxe balcony D0, and I got a very good fare, with or without any extras. Looking forward to this new experience! Thanks for info on app.

Hope it really does! I booked the D0 aft a few hours before a $150 pp increase. Oct 19. Cruise. I already had suite booked and got a fare drop $810 per cabin when I was on Royal Princess. (Oct 14 cruise)

Well, I got it just a few hours before they increased the price. about $150 CAD pp more. For D0 aft.

In the app I am showing Reserve Collection dining for my D0- aft cabin. So that must be one of the upgrades/benefits mentioned in an earlier post in this thread.

PAC- all dates for dining say no need to reserve- Reserve Collection and the only thing it shows is Specialty- not available yet. Good to know yours is like this too.

I am booked in a Signature Suite S9 for Oct 14-19, 2024. I have a separate booking for a Premium Deluxe balcony Aft D0, for October 19/24. My app is back and I discovered the 2 bookings show as one. And the Dining has me in the Signature Collection Restaurant for both cruises. Should I be concerned that the app has both bookings under one booking number & the Personalizer has them separate with two booking numbers? Seems to answer a question we were wondering about the Signature benefits for the D0 aft category.

Oh my goodness! I am booked on the Regal in February 2024 and this thread has given me a heads- up on what to expect for my $714.50 CAD pp in a BW cabin. Taxes, platinum insurance & crew appreciation on top of that hefty fare. Just recently back from the Royal Princess Vancouver to Oahu for similar price. ( free upgrade to a BB). We go Standard, pre order bottle water-12 for less then $10 CAD, bring on soda & wine, and have a few perks as elite. Use to spend in the casino but can no longer stand the smoke. One of us still gets casino OBC, as well and OBC for using our FCD. My Norwegian & last HAL cruises brought me back to Princess. I am also booked on the Sun Princess in a Premium Deluxe balcony & a Signature Suite. Thanks to the OP for sharing and wish you well in the future 60+

BRB- after y’all figure this out. I booked 2 cruises last week. One showed up on app, the other didn’t could not log into app, after that. Deleted it, tried to start over. Nothing. No app for me. Personalizer and Travel summaries on laptop are correct.

I never settle for first agent if it doesn’t sound right. Post pandemic there has been a drop in knowleable age answering the phones. Sorry this has happened to you. Next 2 weeks May be worse. iMO best to cancel and wait for next promotion if you have refundable deposits.
