Yes- Sounds like your upgrade has processed! My documents say BF-MC. We were moved into a great Club Balcony MC cabin that has a larger balcony (next to the M6 balconies.) There were plenty of Club Balconies available at the time we upgraded so were assigned a cabin. Original comp was a Balcony BF category for our 12 day cruise so I guess they need to document that on the updated booking.

Sorry, I have googled several Galveston & Galveston port maps and I've gotten very confused. .It looks walkable but then your post #2 above said Royal's terminal is 'not walkable as no sidewalks and a very busy street'. Isn't this terminal right next to the one most likely used by Norwegian? (Their site doesn't say if terminal 1 or 2. Googling shows 2502 Harborside and 2702 Harborside). Everything I check says 2702 Harborside for Royal's terminal. This is also the address listed on Royal's website. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/driving-directions-port-galveston-texas Sorry for all the questions, just very confused about the walkability to the port.

Is Norwegian's pier walkable from The Tremont? Cruising on NCL's new ship Prima. I'm not sure if it's Terminal 1 or 2. It looked like we could enjoy walking around that entire area and we are then hoping to be able to walk to the port. (Easy rolling luggage.)

@fstuff1, I had to make a couple of calls. Like you, I was upgrading a CAS comped cruise. Both times, not answered by the Diamond Upgrade people, but the 2nd call I had a much more helpful agent answer. He had taken my information and submitted it to that department for me. (See above).

Not a silly question. Strange it hasn't gone back on the website with the new starting date. I find it extremely doubtful that the May 1st 11 day cruise is fully booked. The similar April Joy cruise (still 12 days) has lots of cabins available.

Again, very good to know! After years getting by with diet pepsi, really looking forward to coke products. Happy enough with Diet Coke, but Zero is my preference. The casino (Penrose?) bar should comp me a couple of cans.

The charge comes only if you are booking a flat fee restaurant like Teppanyaki or Moderno after you have booked the number of your FAS meals. That's why you are advised to book them first. Then no fee charged. BirdTravels is correct.

DH is super happy that you showed us ice cream by the scoop in the Food Hall! Question, how do you get a diet coke in the Food Hall?

Back to the original question on this thread.... Some ships reported as sailing full like the 5 Day Prima from New York. New ship from an easy to get to (for many) port. Our 11 day repositioning cruise on Prima from Galveston to Miami shows many balcony cabins still available with two weeks to go. I did some 'research' and saw 15 plus balcony cabins available per floor. It doesn't tell me how full the ship will be, but there is a good amount of cabins available and I'm guessing we will not be 'full'.

Hope you are having a great cruise! We loved our September cruise in the Bliss Haven. Check out the small desserts in the Haven's Horizon lounge. We always took a couple back to the room for a late night snack☺️

How is the Air Conditioning and airflow on board? Sometimes I need a light sweater in the restaurants or casino where others might feel comfortable.

Good question! I have the 400 minute CAS internet too. I'll probably be fine with the 400 plus our 'free' minutes, but it would be nice to know it was unlimited. We have some 11 & 12 day cruises coming up.

I can still see the 12 day April 15-27 available on Joy. US site also has the 7 day Joy cruises for April 1-8 and April 8-15.

We are lucky to have two Plat meals plus four SDP meals so we can try a variety of Prima specialties. I'm planning to use one of my platinum meals at Hasuki. As it's a fixed price restaurant this should avoid the 'one starter, one entrée, one dessert' limitation😊

Have really been enjoying this post and all the great pictures! Question, Does the Prima have the same type of TV channels as the other ships? (Usually a couple of older movie channels, a couple of news channels, etc.)

Thanks for posting the new itinerary for us. I agree, 10% reduction not much for this change to your original cruise. Now there is four days 'missing' for this ship from April 27th to May 1st. It was reported there was a 3 day cruise advertised for April 27th to April 30th. Making it a four day cruise seems strange🤔

Do you mean the April 30th cruise will now start on May 1st? I wonder why they are shortening the cruise. Did NCL send you something about this?

I've tried searching, but I can't see a dry-dock schedule for Joy. It does seem like that would be planned well in advance so strange to have the cruises disappear from the website.

I wonder if either Escape or Joy is being chartered? Joy is/was sailing from Miami April 30 to May 12th. If Escape was to sail from Miami on April 30th and is now missing perhaps there is a connection there.
