  1. Our points...mine, completely MIA. DH still showing the activity in his history but not added to the total. This is baffling since I registered from the email sent by X to me that included my Captains Club number and then I added his Captains Club number as a family member that would be watching with me.
  2. LOL that's a good question! After reading your previous post, I decided to try it to see if that could fix my problem. I signed in, went to profile, then loyalty and deleted my number. I signed out and closed my browser. Then I signed back in and my captains club number was there. Both were done using an Incognito window, so cookies and cache weren't the problem.
  3. Dire...definitely not. Annoying...definitely! This is the tenth time DH or I didn't get credited.
  4. So...my third call to CC I got a similar response. She told me I possibly typed a number or my email incorrectly and that was why the points were not credited. I informed her that if anything was done incorrectly, it had to have been done by X and not me since I only clicked the link to register for the webinar in the email X sent to me. I only added DH's CC number as a family member who'd be viewing with me. The activity was showing in his points history, but not mine and his points had not increased by 3. I also advised her that I had screenshots of the beginning, middle and end of the webinar and that this was my third call. She then agreed to send the issue to the loyalty department to have the points added after she totaled each of our points and agreed that the points hadn't been increased. UGH!!! She didn't say how long that would take! She did take my word that I had the screenshots (which I do) and didn't ask me to send them.
  5. Celebrity IT...ugh!!! DH has finally had the webinar show up in his points history, but not in his point total. Mine doesn't show at all. I called and they said wait until after the 16th. I called again today and they said wait until after the 22nd! This makes no sense since I registered under the email they sent to my Captains Club # and added his number as a family member who was going to watch with me. I have screen shots which I told them. I guess I'll waste more time later today and call again and hope that I get a rep that can do something besides make something up to get me off the phone!
  6. The few times I've had to call about missing points they didn't post until the 14th of the following month.
  7. I still can't figure out why DH and I each got 2 points added. The last thing showing in our histories is the President Pup from March. The Galapagos isn't showing in the history. Maybe we got 2 points for being patient???!!!
  8. Well, my points total only increased by 2 points. I can't figure that out? Maybe they deducted because I wasn't paying attention 🤔
  9. We are doing Greenland/Iceland from Cape Liberty on Eclipse on August 4 of this year. You might want to check out the Roll Call for some information of what some have planned.
  10. I guess I should have just said it's worth it to me to "waste" $4 for the luxury of knowing that I have a valid passport available to travel last minute. Personal choice.
  11. I wasn't suggesting that anyone shouldn't be traveling, but can see how my post could be interpreted that way. I was just saying that if "wasting" $4 was a big issue international travel might be prohibitive.
  12. No one is forced to renew at a particular time. My point was that having a passport which is valid for at least 6 months allows a traveler to make travel plans with the knowledge that they are "good to go" at the last minute. I was just offering an alternative view about the cost or "wasted value."
  13. A passport renewal is currently $130 which equates to $13 annually or $1.0833 a month. If one "wastes" 4 months of validity it would come to $4.33 down the drain. If that amount is daunting perhaps one shouldn't be traveling since the cost of international travel would be considerably more.
  14. On a related note, I got an email stating that our Global Entry was expiring soon and because the renewals were so backlogged they would honor cards for 6 months after the expiration date. I went online that afternoon (a Friday) and filled out the renewal forms, paid, and was prepared to wait. The next day I received an email that there was a change in status and went onto the website to see that the renewal was approved and received the new cards on Tuesday!
  15. If you both booked with the same TA they should be able to link it for you, even with a group rate.
  16. When I've linked reservations Ivealways found the linked reservations listed in numerical order.
  17. If you link the reservations then you both can access the reservations to buy shore excursions, specialty dining etc. It's not necessary, but can be helpful in some situations.
  18. I've called Captains Club in the past at 800-760-0654 and don't push any prompts. If they question it, I can them email them the screenshot taken at the end of the webinar. I always save the screenshot until the points were awarded.
  19. You're absolutely correct, but the history of the PUP activity emails shows that first notice of the activity seems to have been posted by those abroad followed a few hours to a day later by those in the US and Canada. X IT defies logic.☺️
  20. Several years ago I remember that it was allowed to bring a case of water aboard by attaching a luggage tag to the case. Is that still permitted? I can't find it on the website.
  21. The PUP emails seem to come to the UK earlier than to the US and Canada, which is logical considering the time difference.
  22. Would you happen to know if they are available online anywhere to advance purchase them?
  23. We've been sailing on X for many years and remember seeing on the website that passengers can bring wine (2 bottles per cabin), water and soda on board, however I can't find it on the website anymore. Does anyone know what the current rules are? Our next cruise will be the first in about 20 years without a beverage package. Curious about the current rules. TIA
