  1. Adventure ocean hasn't been nearly as structured and themed post covid. Not that it's unstructured now, just activities aren't really marketed ahead of time anymore
  2. 12am or shortly after based on the time zone of the home port
  3. Remember during covid when the rumor was that local gangs broke into labadee and ransacked the place? Fun times.
  4. Doesn't the teen cut off vary by ship? Some 12, some 13.
  5. San Pedro 7 night cruises do. Alaskan cruises do. Some other cruises to Mexico do. Winter cruises to the southern Caribbean can.
  6. Don't use the check in button on the app. It never seems to work for the initial check in. Use the check in link on your user profile page in the app instead
  7. Labadee is probably one of the safest spots in the Caribbean
  8. Labadee is technically in Haiti, and while not technically a true private island, it might as well be
  9. Answering my own question, we were through check in by 10:30
  10. Has anyone done that TSA security appointment? I'm curious how well they honor your scheduled time.
  11. If you don't use your phone on the cruise, then the Key is a huge waste of money.
  12. I'm in a suite, so we'll roll in that magical hour early anyway.
  13. When you're used to 10:30, 11:30 is really late to be the first arrival time.
  14. Anyone sail out of Everglades recently? The earliest slot was 11:30 which seems really late.
  15. But how expensive is internet? Is The Key that cheap or is internet that expensive?
  16. I just got an email today (same one many of you likely got) noting that the tax increase would be anywhere from $1 to $14 pp
  17. For reference, we were leaving the port at 8am.
  18. I had an 11:20am flight in March and was at the gate at like 9:30am
  19. We always rent a car when flying into Orlando. That way we can do a few things the night before/day of. Then dropping it off at enterprise and taking their shuttle is easy. Now as for if you should drop off your crew and return the car yourself vs. all six of you dropping off the car, 50/50 on that one. Though there is an indoor waiting area for the shuttles, so for a couple in their 80s, that may be better than having them fend for themselves for a bit at the port.
  20. Not worth it unless you're booking a bunch of cruises per year.
  21. Complaining publicly but anonymously is fun.
  22. I'd go as early or as late in the season as possible
  23. But you're also paying more for those perks on Oasis than you are a Mariner.
