  1. Carnival (corporation) had a gentleman's agreement of exclusivity for Turks and Caicos. If you look at the port schedule, it's only Carnival Corp brands. But RC is working on making that part of their rotation and Mariner has a one-off stop there on its last cruise before dry dock.
  2. I see this asked about too often when one passenger can't get off work. American's are at such a disadvantage with the rest of the western world with getting time off and it's a shame.
  3. That's why I never use it because it'd wake up the rest of the family. But the lounge coffee is just as acceptable and I can fill an American-sized cup, not a tiny kid's tea set cup
  4. Yes, the couple tried to order a second entree before finishing their first one.
  5. You can never rely on a certain brand or packaging as it can vary from cruise to cruise.
  6. The goal was to have it fleet-wide by the end of February. I don't know how many ships don't yet have it.
  7. Isn't keno the casino game with the worst odds?
  8. I don't have too many anecdotes about people watching in Chops, but I do remember a guy complaining about the doneness of bacon. It was rather amusing.
  9. I've always found the suite breakfast quite consistent. Likely due to how limited the menu is.
  10. None of the concierges enforce this because they know it's bad for business.
  11. For simply walking you off the ship? No. For providing you service through the week to include the walk off the ship, well that's entirely up to you.
  12. The suite breakfast is a subset of the MDR. No burritos, wraps or breakfast bowls like the MDR has. There's also a light breakfast in the suite lounge, too.
  13. I've never had a suite breakfast anywhere but Chops, but I know they do let Giovanni have a turn once in a while on some ships.
  14. Yes. The concierge will have a few windows for priority disembarkation.
  15. Varies by port day (earlier) vs. sea day (later)
  16. I thought that too, but my color is purple, which I would expect for D+
  17. I doubt royal IT randomly decided to change the format of the set sail pass. More like RC corporate made a change but it didn't get funneled down to the port staff.
  18. I can't imagine RC extends its covid refund policy once it ends in April. Just not worth the cost and effort anymore.
  19. I wish I still had my set sail pass from December to see if "Suite" was on there. "Suite" is not on my SSP for my upcoming cruise. Maybe they're going with colors on the left side as the discriminator instead of the word "suite."
  20. Only if you test for every transmissible disease and illness before you board a ship, and not just single out covid.
  21. With so little distance those itineraries need to travel, they just hang out at sea.
