  1. RC's FAQs, google and searching this site will get many of your questions answered.
  2. 19.99 for one device is not a good price at all.
  3. My last two cruises they merely asked "did you watch the videos?"
  4. So people can't complain (though they still will) when something is different on the actual menu than what was in the app a month out.
  5. The menus are largely the same from cruise to cruise, short of holidays or supply issues that can crop up at the last minute.
  6. Ever since menus were put in the app, it has always shown the menus for that ship's current cruise.
  7. Probably August 30, the day after the "whatcha gonna do?" deadline passes.
  8. A couple sports networks, a couple news networks, a couple kids networks then a couple random networks that show random popular shows/movies. But certainly nothing to rely on if you want a late night movie.
  9. Last time I was in London was in Feb 2019 I think. Had glorious weather and the locals were very confused as to why it was so nice.
  10. Many on this board at age 10 had a lot more freedoms than 10 yr olds now do.
  11. A small town that you can't leave, have limited places to go in the first place and that has cameras everywhere. Sure, bad people are on cruises. But crimes of opportunity against people on cruise ships are extremely rare for a reason.
  12. We all know our children so we decide what's best for our children at any point in time.
  13. The canceled cruise transits were purely tourism transits. Easier to cut those than the relocation cruises which have a business need to transit.
  14. Unpredictability with the drought plus poor sales may well be the double whammy to cancel.
  15. That's why, despite the attractive price, I shied away from booking with them.
  16. I'm guessing that's just boilerplate language for when they cancel a cruise.
  17. It is the reason, but I wish RC would have given that as a reason and not some bit about enhancing our experience.
  18. It's 13. And it's not the app per se, but 13 is the age that RC (and many companies) let someone create their own account.
  19. We let our son (11) roam on his own for the first time just recently by using the app chat via him logging into one of our accounts. We all know the issues with the app chat, but it worked for the most part. But he's been on enough cruises to navigate the ships since although the ship classes are largely different, they're still pretty much the same.
  20. I only book suites and have never bought internet. And we tend to stick to Freedom/Voyager class, so no Royal Suite free internet.
