  1. It's the safest port stop anywhere in the Caribbean other than maybe Coco Cay
  2. I guess I'll just have to go bucket listing a repo cruise to get through the canal
  3. Question now is, what do I replace this cruise with? Pickin's are slim
  4. I got the impression all the canal cruises were "enhanced" by just making them southern Caribbean routes.
  5. Doubtful, since RC slyly didn't cancel the cruise, just scrapped the most critical part of the itinerary.
  6. The mini shuttle takes you from the ship to the tram "station" then a regular tram takes you around the island
  7. I was booked on one of those. Not a chance I stay on that itinerary now. Colombia would be neat to visit, but the rest of it, meh. RC knows a canal transit is a bucket list item for many. I wish they'd give us a little bit help for our troubles since so many will cancel and it's too late to get a good deal elsewhere.
  8. You're one of the few people that have found something to love while driving on the Schuylkill
  9. I've been there 5 times since the restart and haven't seen the balloon go up at all. I'm surprised they don't just scrap that thing and use that space for something new.
  10. I've gotten emails that told me my watchlist price for a cruise is rising (gee, thanks for that).
  11. Last time I ordered onion soup was in like 2018. No onions in it then either.
  12. google the name of the excursion and you'll find reviews. You may also find the actual tour company that runs the excursion and find it a lot cheaper to book direct.
  13. Depends how long the jet ski rental is for, but $99 isn't bad at all really
  14. Coco Cay add ons are super marked up. But people keep paying them
  15. Absolutely go the day before. But if you must go the day of, most certainly Newark just due to its proximity to the port.
  16. All the more reason to just go on cruises if you want to be on the coast, not buy a house next to water
  17. You pick the quantity after you click reserve and pick a person to assign it to
  18. I've enjoyed the 3 times we had an aft cabin. The superstructure obstruction really wasn't that big of a deal. Yes, if you're sitting right by the railing, people above you can see you, but that gets hot in the sun like that. The most annoying thing about those cabins to us just was the long hike to and from stuff on the ship. But hey, get your steps in!
  19. Since the restart, any suite lounge without a permanent bar has a full bar menu available
  20. But obviously the drinking age is lower to begin with
  21. Much different situation onboard in regards to enforce drinking ages. On land it's a law. On ship it's just a rule. Surely a staffer could get in trouble for serving someone under age, but there's no legal repercussion.
