  1. I agree - it seems irrational. But Crete, although Greek, has local autonomy, which may allow for no testing being required.
  2. Not sure what games your DW plays, but the speed might be a bit slow for "Call of Duty".
  3. But the need for tests for cruisers doing a b2b in Athens has absolutely nothing to do with Princess. It is a Greek requirement, so Princess have no choice.
  4. Pax going on to Barcelona are being tested. Just heard an announcement.
  5. We are on Regal now. OK, internet is not fantastic, but obviously I can read and reply on CC, post pictures on other websites, browse the internet, check my flight details etc. So I would say that for the average user, the internet connection is more than adequate.
  6. Just to say that as of today, Friday June 3rd at 10am, we have been given no information regarding testing prior to our disembarkation in Athen tomorrow. Can't see it happening at this late stage.
  7. Not anymore, as the cobbles have been replaced with tarmac. The only danger is to your wallet.
  8. Out of interest, why did you buy 102 shares, rather than 100 ?
  9. In which case, I rest my case. You want a dress code, as do most of us, and it is now just a matter of deciding on the code itself. I just feel that shorts and wife beater shirts have no place in the MDR. How's that for a minimum dress requirement?
  10. easyJet have been cancelling a lot of flights recently, at short notice. There are not that many options to Athens from Gatwick. In your position I would be seriously looking at a Plan B, so consider what your options are from Heathrow. We are flying back from Athens on Saturday, and BA have consolidated two 320 flights into a single 787 flight, as they have insufficient staff for two flights. Good luck
  11. I think you'll find that Celebrity have done away with formal nights as such. And, judging by some of the sights on Regal Princess at the moment, the dress code has disappeared all together. Shorts in all the dining rooms, even on formal nights.
  12. Can you repost using a better font. I can't read your post.
  13. How does the person making up the order know that you give a tip, and why would they care, as they don't get the tip anyway. And the orders are processed as they arrive. You are deluded if you think your tips give you any priority or extras when it comes to room service.
  14. So you are actually saying that there should be a dress code !
  15. So you are actually saying that there should be a dress code !
  16. Just to follow up on our earlier discussion about this. On our current cruise, out of 8 ports, only twice has the port side of the ship been the dock side.
  17. After 4 or 5 days, most people would buy a new t shirt if their luggage was missing. Similarly, not having a shower on one day because of your schedule is one thing, but after a number of days ? You only need to look at the lank greasy hair of some of these people to see that water is not their friend ! Makes as many excuses for them as you like, but some people are just slobs.
  18. 2,300 last week, 2800 this week. There are Covid cases aboard, in quarantine cabins, but no idea as to actual numbers. No mask wearing, no social distancing, you can sit at bars etc. So, back to normal.
  19. The problem is that on our current cruise (Princess) quite a few passengers have not followed any of your suggestions ! The same grubby shirts and shorts are being worn from morning to night, day after day. I appreciate that we all have various ideas as to dress codes, but as you say, is it too hard to get showered and have a change of clothes ?
  20. We are on Regal, embarked BCN on May 21st, and have not been tested.
