    You can't in the UK. But as you are in the US I think you can. (I don't agree you should be able to do this though, the point of a guarantee is that you should be taking what you are assigned which is why it's cheaper).

    I'm sure they'll book this for you if you want it, but you'll need to pay the hotel etc.

    Glad it's all worked out for you. Things like this should be pretty standard if your air is booked through them. Could understand it if you'd booked independently, but if it's booked with them there is not much else you could do.

    For some reason, the Brits have been obsessed with Indy and would happily sail on here every year and watch the same shows year on year. Never understood it myself. You'll have a great time.

    What does your policy say about cover for "schedule changes or mechanical problems with flights"? I'd guess you have purchased an inadequate policy for your needs sadly.

    Great review. Looking forward to be sailing again in a few weeks after reading this. Who was the cruise director out of curiosity ?

    Sadly this is a known bug that has been reported by many people over time that can happen. They don't seem interested enough to fix it, probably because not as many people notice it and end up overpaying. I'd suggest emailing MBayley@rccl.com which is the corporate exec team and see what they say.
