  1. No which is why I figured halfway, or almost. I had no reason to expedite. I don't need it til Oct.
  2. This week is 5 weeks and counting. I figure I'm about halfway lol.
  3. You left out asking on CC before doing anything about it.
  4. It's twice a day for JS and above. We were onboard in April and our friends who were in an ocean view still were getting twice a day. We were in a JS.
  5. No. We've been on EN 5 times in the last two years out of Baltimore and our rooms were always spotless and since we were in a JS, we did get twice a day service, but no issues at all. We saw our steward and others every morning and evening, either in the hallway or in other cabins.
  6. But, it is factual. I've seen more than a couple of people blame the ship or cruise line for illness. We were on EN in April. There was an outbreak about 2 or 3 cruises before ours. They delayed boarding for the cruises before ours and ours so they could clean more. They dropped all restrictions on day 2 of our cruise because it was contained by then. The way they handled it is standard protocol and you will see it across the line and has been reported by others impacted.
  7. I don't know as I'm not sure of Millennium class dimensions. I can guarantee it's been discussed on CC at some point, but I can't remember.
  8. Someone's convinced that they know everything. I do wish Celebrity would come back to Baltimore and sail out of PC. When we were on Summit a few years ago, the casino was very busy every night.
  9. Someone brought it onboard, probably without knowing it. All they can do is try to contain it. Noro is very common on land, moreso than on cruise ships and most people have had it at least once. It's probably what I had when I was 4 yrs old and was hospitalized for two days only because of the need to give me IV's for dehydration and control my diet. It's more common that people get over it within 24-48 hours. It is very contagious and is easily spread by people who don't wash their hands and share it on surfaces.
  10. We love Anthem and miss having her in NJ year round. BTW, drinks packages are just as expensive on the other ships. No one makes you buy it lol. That seems to be the crux f your issues. It's an easy fix. Pay as you go.
  11. We're D+ and have done 8 cruises since restart. We've been on EN, Harmony and Jewel in JS and have not received one. We did get a bottle of wine at dinner on our cruise in July 2022 when the hotel director found out it was our anniversary. We had a bad meal on our last EN cruise and received a free Chops filet one night but that was it.
  12. What we do if we buy a package is use one of our 48 hours and then use the other 48 hours as a discount on a package. So, I'll use my 48 hours and then we'll use DH's against the package. You might want to price it out that way and see how it works out.
  13. We're always in a JS and have never gotten priority tender tickets because of the cabin. We did however get them due to D+ status and the Concierge in the CL handed them out in the lounge. That was for Coco Cay. Otherwise, we had to get in line just like everyone else to get the tickets.
  14. We did it on Anthem two different cruises. Back when it was completely free and you just had to reserve a spot. Was it cool? Yeah. Would we pay for it? No. Both times we were at sea. What was cool was how you could look down and see the deck and see farther out across the water. First time, they swung us out a bit, second time, not at all. First trip, they weighed each person, second time they didn't.
  15. We've been on EN for two b2b's and one single cruise since March 2022. MDR was never open. That was out of Baltimore obviously, so no idea what they're doing now.
  16. Sounds like a personal problem. We routinely do 8-12 night cruises out of Baltimore and I have never heard anyone whining about that when they are refueling which they obviously only do in port.
  17. We were on Jewel last year and will be again this fall and that is an issue in the theater. When you're in the upper level of the theater, all you can smell is the smoke wafting in from the casino. And, even when the casino isn't open, the smell of stale smoke lingers in there.
  18. No one is forced to smoke either, but non smokers are forced to just to go into the casino. As smoking declines as it has for decades, why should the majority kneel down to the minority?
  19. I meant to come back and respond. There were actually JS available, but they were for 3 passengers and it wouldn't let us book for just 2. It's weird because we've stayed in other JS on other ships that slept up to 4 with no issue having just 2 of us. The Next Cruise guy said it wouldn't let him put just 2 in those cabins.
  20. A "large" group? LOL. 12.5% of adults in the US smoked in 2021 and it's been dropping steadily for years and will continue to. What they forget is that even if people complain and don't want to be in there during the test, they would start coming back if they knew it was permanent because they want to gamble. If smokers think it's a test and they can influence the outcome, they will complain loudly. It's really a terrible way to handle it as it's really doesn't prove anything except that those being impacted (a minority by a large amount) can complain loudly. Squeaky wheel. A poll of ALL cruisers would be a better way to find out what people really want.
  21. We saw that in a lot of bars/restaurants when they banned indoor smoking. For a while, some bars tried putting plexiglass between the bar and the restaurant and then those went away completely because it didn't work. Bars still full and now you can't smoke anywhere, even outside on the bar/restaurants' property. I just don't get why smokers can't take a break and go outside if they need to smoke?
  22. Well, let's see if anyone who has been on one of those cruises posts something for you.
  23. As is reported in the article also, Oasis class has been converting the Jazz clubs.
  24. What does everyone think of this? https://www.entrepreneur.com/business-news/royal-caribbean-is-testing-a-controversial-change-on-board/453941?fbclid=IwAR0RYNbheRiYrqbSAnzi0nYSGz0O0SYU9iandJQiZ_2EsvKoiknavu7dT9k I've been saying they're heading this direction for a while. I don't think it's controversial for most people.
