  1. This chart will help https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/suites-staterooms.html
  2. There’s no 2 “free” bottle deal anymore. You can bring on a “reasonable” amount but all is charged a $20 per bottle corkage fee regardless of where you plan to drink it.
  3. We’re going to Alaska on the K’Dam on June 24 and booked our specialty dining on 12/19/22.
  4. @Crew NewsWe stay at that Marriott frequently but aren’t familiar with the restaurant you describe. I tried Google and all I come up with is 13 Coins…is that it? I want to try this summer when we are there.
  5. Only Neptune and Pinnacle Suites have the perks you mentioned. That’s all covered on the HAL web site here: https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/cruise-ships/ms-koningsdam/2.html Sorry for your disappointment.
  6. I’m sure the Lido staff would love it! Perhaps @Copper10-8 could suggest a way to get your card delivered.
  7. Thank you for posting this. May she rest in peace.
  8. We booked our Alaska cruise for next summer without HIA. Just received an email from HAL offering it for $50 pp per day. That’s much more interesting than the $99 price but can’t help but wonder if there will be more offers with even more reduced costs. What have you experienced? Thanks!
  9. Sea42, now that you mention it, it does sound funny! Lack of details age related rather than under the influence.
  10. My husband tried it on the K’dam in 2017 and enjoyed it but doesn’t remember any details.
  11. I believe this was one of their menus from the Koningsdam in July 2017
  12. From here on their website: https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/shore-excursions.html
  13. I agree that HAL may have more restrictions. I added above that from the description it doesn’t sound like it would be enjoyable for an infant or the parents.
  14. From a Trip Advisor article about this excursion (Allen Marine is who HAL uses). Doesn’t sound like it would be enjoyable IF HAL would even allow an infant. Age Restrictions We welcome guests of all ages onboard but like to give parents travelling with younger children additional information about the tour. Most infants and toddlers become very unhappy on this trip due to the long tour length and boat size. There is not much room to roam around inside, but there is walking space outside on the observation decks. This space is exposed to the elements and rather cold. Please note: there are no changing tables available, and there is no room for strollers onboard. While there is no charge for children two years old & younger, all guests must have a ticket due to coast guard regulations. Please call our office to make a reservation if travelling with an infant. https://truealaskantours.com/tour/tracy-arm-fjord-glacier-explorer/
  15. You might want to have a plan B if on board testing isn’t an option. Also if it is an option the price might be higher than the above mentioned ones.
  16. Always enjoy your reports. Happy Anniversary…we’re celebrating #45 tomorrow and will toast to our anniversary “twins”!
  17. Yesterday a gentleman who had been her dance partner several times on HAL cruises reported on their FB page that she had recently passed away. May she Rest In Peace!
