  1. I put our left over mini-bar in my suitcase and drove home.
  2. Notify your waiter about splitting the tab when seated.
  3. A passport card is a driver's license sized ID card that looks a lot like the info page with your photograph from your passport. It is available as an option when you renew your passport. I don't know if you can get one outside of renewal. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport/card.html
  4. I use a U.S. Passport Card. This is carried with my passport. I leave the passport in the safe and carry the card onshore for universal ID.
  5. Virgin Martini- 3 olives on a toothpick.
  6. When was the last time that you used them? As I said, when inquiring for for my cruise, less than 2 months ago, I placed a direct call to the lot (I have previous success with this, Chuy was the contact person for my previous reservations) and was told that they no longer take reservations anymore. It is first come, first served.
  7. I tried to reserve a spot @ 80 Francisco in Sept. '22 and was told that they do not take reservations anymore. It is now first come, first served. It will probably be full from the cruise that is disembarking. Timing can be "iffy".
  8. Casino booked cruises need ALL changes run through the casino dept. or run the very real risk of losing your casino paid cruise and/or all of your promos. It happened to me after adding transfers and insurance. I lost $400 in "refundable deposits" and $300 in casino free-play. I got the cabin but lost the $$. Lesson learned.
  9. To perhaps be a little more specific, a fully complimentary cruise will require a refundable $200pp deposit while a cruise with a casino discount and/or casino credit may be booked using a FCD. I did it for a cruise in Sept '22.
  10. The "extended auto warranty" people will find you! They are everywhere and they never sleep.
  11. ^THIS^ My recent experience on the Royal was exactly as HaveDog has stated. Walk-up for suite dining is no problem, no reservation required.
  12. Never say never... On my Sept 24th 3 night cruise, we had both a formal night that was only listed in the Patter, AND there was a first night specialty dinner for suites. Anything is possible.
  13. On Royal Class ships, it is in the desk drawer. Don't know brand name or wattage.
  14. Just show up at the port with your passport and other required documentation and let the shore-side staff handle it.
  15. Not true. You can bring your own cans of pop on board, carry on yourself or slap a luggage tag on your package of soda. Bottled water on the other hand may be pre-ordered and will be waiting for you in your cabin.
  16. First night specialty dining is a full suite perk, not a Club Class perk.
  17. Any competent TA can get you any casino discount that you have earned. The TA will need your CC# (Captains Circle). They may need to call the casino dept. for you.
  18. I got off the Royal after a 3 nt cruise 2 weeks ago and we not only had the complimentary suite dinner on the first night, we had a formal night as well.
  19. Green lane means that you have all of your "paper work" completed for now. This is where you want to be. Blue is a color that means you have not completed your pre-cruise information.
  20. Club Class dining will catch any sneaker that tries to get in. The hostess is on the ball, checking names and catching sneakers. I personally have sneaked 2 sneakers into the MDR, no one questioned me.
  21. I have flown with Alaska Air from little podunk RDD to SEA via EZ-Air last summer.
