  1. I sailed on the Majestic in Aug of '21 in Marina 102. As others have said, they are great balconies. But for Alaska, these are the best choices, IMO. For most of your cruise, you will be in the Inside Passage and it will be slow going and nearly smooth as glass. The views from your balcony at the front of the ship are second to none.
  2. They work for the Port Everglades. From a 2013 article: https://www.porteverglades.net/articles/post/porters-at-port-everglades-train-for-first-class-customer-service/
  3. BEST time and location? Obviously it would be the Conservatory in Glacier Bay. That will never happen. Realistically I have seen "private party" signs in the Conservatory, usually in the mornings, on 2 different cruises on the Majestic to Alaska and Mexico.
  4. The constant inconsistencies are fleet-wide at Princess.
  5. Usually plenty of spots available on the first night for suites, just go to your preferred dining venue and make your reservations once onboard. And as said earlier, if you are on a Royal class ship, let your concierge handle it for you and relax!
  6. No more ceiling catwalks, it's all done with high resolution cameras in the ceiling.
  7. Being a "walk-up" has never failed me. There is more than one MDR. Staff will tell you when the best time for their dining room is.

  9. There has been some discussion about this here and on YouTube. I haven't heard from anyone whether this is a legit Princess promotion or not.
  10. Ditto what Starshine said. MDR is my first choice, if not, Alfredo's.
  11. The luggage service from the ship to SEA is a free service provided by the city of Seattle. We used it in 8/20 and it worked great!

  15. A private tour may do pickup/delivery to the port. Other than that, Uber/Lyft?
  16. $20 for half day, $40 for a full day and $30 pp/pd if you book the entire cruise.
  17. It looks like you can get a complimentary ride with Uber or a taxi to the Fort Lauderdale Amtrak station and ride the train to its final stop at Miami International Airport. https://www.tri-rail.com/stations/fort-lauderdale

  19. How much do Longshoreman make in San Pedro? How much does a Longshoreman make in San Pedro, CA? The average Longshoreman salary in San Pedro, CA is $66,326 as of January 26, 2023, but the salary range typically falls between $59,827 and $73,293. Longshoreman Salary in San Pedro, California https://www.salary.com › research › salary › posting › san... Considering the cost of living in L.A., it beats flipin' burgers at Mickey D's.
  20. If one has priority boarding, doesn't that make a boarding time moot? Any boarding time 30-60 mins after boarding starts is no longer "priority" boarding once general boarding begins.
  21. I'm lowly platinum and I get the invites in my room.
  22. Actually, it is the happy hour lounge for suite, elite and platinum passengers. Special pricing on a select number of drinks and snacks.
