  1. When I took WP&YRR in 2021, they had all of the passengers swap sides of the rail car so that everyone got to sit on the scenic side of the car. At that time, we couldn't go into Canada due to Covid restrictions.
  2. Wanna bet on that? I have never been given incorrect safety information from Security.
  3. The question was in finding your muster station BEFORE you can get access to your room.
  4. Absolutely NOT a delay boarding. It goes like this: Me: Could you tell me my muster location? Security: Yes sir! It is the Crown Grill. Me: Thank you. It would take less time to give you that information than it did to read this. It is listed with your photo on their device screens.
  5. I ask security about that as I first board. They will tell you.
  6. I had heard the the Port of SF is doing maintenance work on all the piers to include new fenders/rubber bumpers dockside. Just lucky timing I guess that Pier 35 is down that day.
  7. Thanks all. I'll fly. My concern for arrival is the delay in boarding for the inspections with basically no decent facilities to process arrival of new passengers. A waiting area.
  8. I will be departing San Francisco from Pier 80, near Candlestick Point. From Google Earth, I don't see any dedicated parking for cruising. As this is a 1-way repo cruise to Vancouver, where do you park, SFO and Princess transfer or Uber/Lyft? The Grand is returning from Aus/NZ. Will it clear extended Customs and Coast Guard inspections in Hnl stop or SF? Should I brace myself for a zoo-like experience? I have a 3+/- hr drive. If parking is an issue, fly in? I have United service close by.
  9. Yes, you can check in at your muster station first. As you check in with security when you first board, ask them for your muster location. Watch the video at a bar, eatery or anywhere. Super easy.
  10. Call room service to change your selections. Selections may vary according to the ship supplies.
  11. If it is a Princess excursion, I'm sure that they will get you aboard after your excursion regardless of the time of night or morning.
  12. You pay double on your cruise fare and then the $60 pp/pd is added to that. Since you only have 1 person in the cabin, you are charged for 1 Plus package. Just bounce back and forth with your devices.
  13. Anyone stop to think that maybe the staff member and the passengers were related?? Brother/ sisters or cousins or uncle and nieces? If this staff member was doing something that breaks the rules, I doubt that you would have seen it as often as you or your sons did. There could be other reasons for this besides nefarious ones.
  14. IIRC, each seat has a folding table top that deploys out of the right arm rest. I don't know if this is true for all ships in the fleet.
  15. Your link connects to ***** to book a cruise, not Cruise Critic. Cruise Critic is a subsidiary of TripAdvisor, also noted on the link you posted.
  16. I would suggest a local travel agent. Use one agent for all your cruise bookings.
  17. phatlad- So_Tweetie was very clear about this: " Texas liquor laws do not apply to non-alcoholic beverages."
  18. Call Princess and order your water directly from them and use your card (verbally). Make them figure it out, it is their problem.
