  1. I can't confirm anything about 1540 but I was in 1523 and my mom and dad in 1525 on the Port Side. No service doors across from the cabin or anything to cause noise around or above. 1540 is not far from the hallway you get to the inside cabins and then the Spa access area so maybe that would cause some noise over there? 🍹
  2. Yes. It is owned by Diageo. Many of the brands served on Celebrity are. Diageo is actually where the World Class name comes from, why it's named that. They train bartenders, etc... It's about the drinks and experience. Love the World Class Bar. ;) 🍹
  3. Last October on the Equinox, the World Class Bar had Ciroc Red Berry. It is Raspberry and Strawberry. 🍹
  4. It showed up just over 7 months for me. It was however showing briefly before that but then gone for months but I think that was because they weren't doing them at that time. It then showed up March 18th for an October 26th cruise. 🍹
  5. On my upcoming Beyond cruise, initially the Behind the Scenes Tour showed briefly then disappeared for months but they were also suspended at the time fleetwide it seemed. In March, it appeared again in the Cruise Planner under Onboard Activities. I booked immediately. 😃 It was $99.00/person at the time. Currently, it is sold out, but the price has gone up to $139.00 and then there is a pre-cruise savings which brings the price to $124.99. 🍹
  6. Hi! I haven't sailed yet (on in October) but I have definitely seen that type of model in videos I have watched of The Beyond and tours of the shops. It was on the shelf. I did not see a price though. If you don't get any more confirmations, I will report back for you when I go but it's not until the end of October. 🍹 I went back and found one I saw it in. I took a picture of the screen. It isn't the clearest but you can see it. 😉
  7. They should offer what they advertise. 😃 I wonder if the new enhancements have been rolled out on other ships? 🍹
  8. I chose the cabins I did, specifically not to be under anything noisy, no overhang outside of the balcony, nothing across in the hallway. I do alot of research when choosing cabins. 😅 It has always worked. 😉 I've had Deck 10 Concierge on the starboard side up front on other Celebrity S-class ships. When we decided to try Aqua, the starboard side cabins were under the gym and treadmills and I read multiple reviews about noise, so went with port side. I've always had at least Concierge so used to some extra perks. AquaClass has a few more cabin amenities but honestly, I don't do Yoga so the Yoga mats weren't used. They have some extra things you get to pick now. The biggest advantage was Blu. We all agreed we would book at least AquaClass going forward. We never used the Persian gardens. We took a tour the first day but never got there. The extra Captain’s Club Points are a plus. AquaClass also gets you afternoon canapes, a welcome bottle of champagne, umbrellas to use (hopefully not needed), binoculars, upgraded toiletries, some extra Room Service items, and a few other things. The Equinox had a partial revolution in 2019. The AquaClass and Concierge cabins received new carpet, reupholstered couches, new drapes and new beds. The regular veranda cabins only received new beds and drapes. The color scheme doesn't match as well now in the regular veranda cabins. Regular veranda, Concierge and AquaClass are all the same size and layout. If you want pictures of anything, just let me know. 🍹
  9. I was in 1523 on the Equinox. My mom and dad in 1525. Deck 11. Perfect. No noise since the cabins were under the spa treatment rooms. No motion either. 🍹
  10. I believe the same. Choose your day onboard. This is what I was told last week before I pre-booked it. I took the class before, but booked onboard at The World Class Bar. My upcoming cruise, I pre-booked it. What I did do, I booked for everyone in my travel party on the same reservation, rather than book individually, in case they do assign a day. 🍹
  11. That's so odd how it isn't consistent. Prior to being 'TICKETED' I have always been able to see the flight, seats, etc... I can't change anything on my own prior to being TICKETED. I can add flight change notifications and things like that. 🍹
  12. I think it depends on what you like to eat. Have you looked at the menus? You can view all of the menus on the Celebrity App. I sail in October so I can't give my opinion on the food and experience yet. I have Eden booked. It gets such rave reviews. I'll see for myself. 😉 I also booked Rooftop Garden Grill for being outside and some different things offered from the rest of the venues. The other options are Le Voyage, Le Petit Chef, Raw on 5 and Fine Cut Steakhouse. I've done Le Petit Chef before and enjoyed it. The Beyond has a new menu that I'm not crazy about and I also wanted to try new places. I like to do 2 Specialty Restaurants. Fine Cut Steakhouse...It gets mixed reviews and we have some great high end steakhouses we go to so I don't necessarily need to try that for my upcoming cruise. Le Voyage. Eh. I wasn't impressed when I saw the menu, but that's me. People so far seem to like it overall, based on reviews I've seen. Raw on 5. We'll probably stop by for lunch or maybe apps before dinner one day/night. Le Grande Bistro is also available as a lunch option. Le Petit Chef is held there at night. 🍹
  13. If the OBC is showing in your Cruise Planner before you board, Yes. If it’s OBC from your travel agent that may not show up until you are onboard, then no. 🍹
  14. American Airlines, I choose my seats at the same time I book with Flights by Celebrity, which is before payment has been made. While on the phone with the agent, I say I would like to pick the seats. I have the seat map up before I call. I also verify the seats have been held when I log into my American Airlines account. 🍹
  15. Basically anything that gets charged to your SeaPass account. 😃 Upgrades for beverage or internet packages, excursions, pedicure, manicure, spa, salon, onboard activities (look at your Cruise Planner to get an idea of things offered), specialty restaurants, the shops, etc... 🍹
  16. Hi! There aren't any PUP's involved. It's like extra credit reading that you don't get any 'stars' for. 😉 Here is the e-mail: It’s been a few months since my last note, and I thought now might be a good time to check back in with all of you and share some of the exciting things happening at Celebrity Cruises. As many of you know, I am getting ready for my first Celebrate with the CEO cruise since 2019! I will be sailing on Celebrity Beyond for 10-nights to the Greek Islands and Malta in just a few days. I can’t wait to see all our guests – maybe even some of you - and our crew again. Captain Kate McCue will be at the helm and Captain Dimitris Kafetzis will also be joining us. Make sure you follow along with us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to join in the fun. I hope you saw that Royal Caribbean Group announced yesterday our plan to implement SpaceX’s Starlink– making it the first in the cruise industry to adopt its high-speed, low-latency connectivity for a massively better onboard experience for guests and crew. The innovative broadband internet service will be installed on all Celebrity Cruises ships beginning this fall and finishing in spring of 2023. Most exciting is that we will start with Celebrity Beyond’s 9/5 voyage. We are thrilled to be able to offer you significantly faster and more reliable internet no matter where you are in the world on our ships. If you have purchased an All-Included Celebrity vacation which includes WiFi, I encourage all of you to upgrade to the premium package which enables streaming. This service is game changing for cruise vacations. The next topic I thought I would comment on is our new boarding requirements and protocols that better align with the travel industry and society at large. Ultimately, we’re transitioning to the day when everyone can sail with us again. Beginning with departures on September 5, 2022, all travelers, regardless of vaccination status, can cruise with us on sailings departing from U.S. and Europe ports (excluding sailings that visit Canada). And testing protocols are easing on our U.S. and Europe sailings. Visit us at celebritycruises.com/health-and-safety for details. I realize that keeping up with these ever- changing protocols is daunting. For us as well. We appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate with countries around the world and varying restrictions and requirements. And lastly, in case you missed it, we recently announced exciting new enhancements to our Captain’s Club program based on your feedback. We re-introduced cruise-only rates, added a new shore excursion benefit, updated member events, and more. We’ve included it all at celebritycruises.com/captains-club/program-changes so that you can stay up to date on all things Celebrity. Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support. It is appreciated more than you will ever know. I hope to see you on board soon. Until then, All my very best,
  17. Haha. 5 minutes. That's funny. 😉 Glad you are able to do that though. 😃 🍹
  18. You can purchase a water package if you don't already have a beverage package. It can be found with the Drink Packages. If you have already booked, it will be in your Cruise Planner. They also have non-alcoholic packages. All alcoholic beverage packages include water and soda. Depending on the package you have, different brands are available. The packages include unlimited items from bars, restaurants, etc... https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/onboard-packages/beverage-packages As for carrying on. If you look under their FAQ's: Before You Board and then What Not To Pack... you will see it says no alcoholic or non-alcoholic items can be brought on. However, 2 bottles of wine per person are allowed. I've read that people have brought water and/or soda but I do not know if it is in fact allowed. You can call and ask. https://www.celebritycruises.com/faqs/all-faqs 🍹 This is under What Not To Pack:
  19. Wow. 11am. That would be nice! It takes me about 1.5 hours to get ready so to make breakfast before 9am on a sea day, I need to be up by 7am. Too early for me most days while at sea. 😉 I am more of a lunch person. Even if I eat a full breakfast, I still need lunch. However, if a sit down breakfast was available later, I would be more likely to go at times. 🍹
  20. I pretty much only eat there on Debarkation day since I have to be up early and ready to go. They should definitely serve breakfast longer. It is vacation after all. 😅 I always put that in my post cruise survey. Hasn't worked yet. As for the OP... I order room service to be delivered. Fruit, poached eggs on toast or a bagel and sometimes a blueberry muffin to have while getting ready. I do enjoy Eggs Benedict. I definitely have it on the last day. Sometimes earlier if I decide to venture out of the cabin super early. 😉 If I eat breakfast, not in the cabin, I prefer sit down, not the buffet. 🍹
  21. Hi! Thank you for sharing your cruise experiences and pictures. 😃 🍹
  22. Check-in was always 90 days before but is currently 45 days right now for most sailings. It will show the date in the app as it gets closer. I would still keep that 90 day mark in mind though. If available, you will get an e-mail offer to Bid for an Upgrade. There is also a spot within your reservation online with Celebrity. I received an e-mail not long after final payment even though it shows online it's closer to the cruise. The next larger suite is a Celebrity Suite. Exact balcony size, not sure. ? You'll have to check online to see what the balcony size is compared to the Sky Suites. There are different Sky Suites so you may want to check that as well. I usually do 2 specialty restaurants during a cruise, on a 9-night for example. I think it all depends on what specialty you want to try, what you've already done, etc... I have always booked onboard and never had a problem. For my upcoming Beyond sailing, I booked already. I am in a Sky Suite as well. Bed facing the water. 🍹
  23. Hi! I am enjoying your review. Thank you! Continue having a wonderful time. 😃 🍹
  24. 90 days prior to sailing so final payment was over a month ago. I said I had made final payment last month and the agent could see that. 🍹
