Get it in writing from Oceania When onboard just confirm with the purser that they know you will be off the ship overnight The only thing that could be a problem is if the ship is scheduled to stop at another port & then it cannot make that port due to weather/sea conditions

Extended balconies are good on warm weather cruises if you spend a lot of time there You will be overlooked when out in the extended area but you can meet the upstairs neighbours that way 😉

If you used a TA call & ask them to check if you can get the discounted rate or call NCL if you booked direct Sometimes you can get an OBC for the difference in prices after final payment It does not hurt to ask

If you are not staying a hotel that Oceania uses then NO transfers just get a taxi or private car hire depending on the port city -

I found it was the same instructor for the cruise but maybe we just got lucky with the same Chef If you can check when you board who the Chef is then you can cancel ASAP if it is one you do not like 😉

confused? You want to book a cruise or you have a cruise booked & want to book excursions? You can book excursions as soon as they are listed in your cruise at least 9 mths out IME Have never seen them go on sale

The show is usually 9:30 to 10:30 ish & the band will play prior to the show for dancing maybe 45 mins prior Also at Tea there is the string quartet or band 4-5pm & people will dance then as well but in Horizons

I believe any cabin on Crystal could get a bottle or 2 of what they drink for their cabin We did not bother as we prefer to be out & about

They do offer some dancing in the evening before the show but it is limited Yes above & below the Theatre will be noisy during show time & afternoon rehearsal I would not choose O for the dancing if that is you primary reason to cruise JMO

Most ships I have been on change the time to the local time but some lines just like to keep you on your toes either way the local guides know when the ship will dock & how long it may take you to reach the meeting place
