Good news Crystal is back sailing 😃 I found the evening buffet on the old Crystal a joke MDR had some hits but mostly misses for us So I guess all lines have some gimmick

When we have been there it was just walk off when you are ready The cruise line will give you instructions if you are continuing on

these days many people use the internet to find out thing so Travel company are just booking sites Some real TA's will answer your question maybe charge a fee for their time Most cruise lines will do their best to meet your dietary needs just ask for the info to be put on your file then talk to them once onboard I would book your travel insurance from a 3rd party & not the cruise line Shop around you can find good agents but a lot of the online sites are just order takers

We are there Oct 1st & thinking of a taxi there & the bus back Will report in on how that goes Enjoy the trip

They will probably offer some for the B2B ers it may not be available until you are onboard we had no trouble taking a taxi from the port to Bayside mall & back

Depends on what your interests are? If you want a beach day then Antigua would be a good choice I would check what both islands have to offer then see what suits you best JMO

Was your turnaround port in the USA? Ireland is a fair distance from Amsterdam Some European ports may have this but in Amsterdam there was no customs to go through when disembarking We walked off picked up our bags got a cab to the airport We have done turnarounds in Denmark we could stay onboard or go ashore no one checked us

Good point A lot of people will DIY or just enjoy the ship until the new pax arrive Depending on the port we usually go off for a few hours & pick up supplies have a bite to eat then return to the ship late afternoon

yes common that the GDR is not open on port days Then menus in the specialties change or just remove/add differnt dishes but it may be several years before that happens maybe the several email with port info is because many complain they never got the info Some never read the Currents so why would they read an email

For those that are unable to get the VISA in time for their cruise I wonder if the cruise line would allow you to get off before Egypt & reboard after the ship departs the Country? It is not ideal but would save you from missing the whole cruise It may be worth contacting your line or have your TA do it in writing & see what they say Just a thought Fingers crossed you all get the VISA in time though

The Reps at Oceania have been unreliable I would do your best to get your VISA Are you using a TA? If so get them to contact their Rep at O & explain the situation for Canadians
