  1. Down here Princess are requiring you to state that you have had a negative RAT test. It doesn't have to be a supervised test. Hardly what I call a test. Technically yes a test but......
  2. That gives me some hope then. We disembarked on 21 May and owed over $200 refundable OBC, still nothing. I sent them an enquiry via their website (in Australia) a week ago and had an email acknowledgement but no reply. Over 11 weeks now - that is pathetic.
  3. What a shame for you. The Lobster on Emerald in May was excellent. We also have a dinner in Crown Grill every cruise. Never any complaints there either.
  4. I'm a simple man with simple tastes. I enjoy the lobster on formal nights as well. I try not to eat too much during the day so I can enjoy the pleasures of things like fresh bread rolls, before getting serious with the menu.
  5. Yes the Royal has one but it is very small. A table that seats about 8 people surrounded by most sparsely filled bookshelves. Also a lot of board games.
  6. Me too. I love them - fresh bread and butter, can't beat it. I also like trying the different varieties.
  7. My experience is that you have to add your card details again when you book a tour, regardless that they may have card details. In my case they have my credit card as part of me getting through the App process but I sometimes pay for excursion with a debit card. I assume that is why for all excursions you enter card details at booking stage.
  8. If the tours are listed and have times and that bit abut 20 places available, it means that they are available to book. Regrettably you might have to call them.
  9. Down here the only testing that has been required is an unsupervised RAT test you can do at home. You just had to state that you'd done the test and had a negative result.😉😇
  10. I would take the train from Waterloo every time. Strikes notwithstanding.
  11. I think you misunderstood Don's point. Yes, your name is Balcony Bill but he means that you should have perhaps titled the thread something like "Balcony Deck Plans" (or similar) so people know what you question is from the title. You got your answer anyway I guess.
  12. Just noticed you are referring to departure time, not boarding time. My experience is that the departure group times never open on the App. Just wait until you get the disembarkation letter on board and pick a time then. They would like you out of your cabin by 8am is my experience.
  13. You don't say whether you are flying first but if you do the ball needs to be deflated. We often take a footy with us on our local trips here and the security check that it's fairly flat before flying. If so don't forget the pump.
  14. I don't think it matters anyway. On our recent Emerald cruise we had the first boarding group but no one ever checked. Just seemed like turn up when you want.
  15. Check out the other thread about this. Your comments about "house" wine seem accurate and the change is not popular.
  16. My favourite port to sail in/out of. If you have only a one day stop (we did a 21 day Med trip and stopped there three times - once due to cancellation of another port) I would just walk around the walled town and if you are fit climb the stairs inside the walled town and go up the hill for amazing views. Perast is also worth a look if you have time. We took a taxi to Budva on one of our days and that is a great place to walk around and have lunch, but you wont have time unless you return and set aside a few hours. I wouldn't do a Princess tour here. The last time we left the captain blasted the Love Boast theme from the ships horns and it echoed back from the surrounding mountains. We also had a bloke in a small boat that sang alongside us as we cruised out. He had a wonderful voice and the balconies were packed with people listening to him. It was a shame we couldn't tip him, as he gave us a great memory.
  17. Based on what I have read in the past you will be getting a cheque. The amount I was owed was noted in US dollars but the amount against the referred to corporate finance line was increased, I assume to allow for the exchange rate.
  18. I think "referred to Corporate Finance" means you are due this amount as a credit/refund. Well, that's what I hope as we had a similar amount against the same description following our cruise and I know we were in credit at the end of the cruise. I am about to email Princess as our cruise ended 9 weeks ago.
  19. Exactly has happened to us. We disembarked 9 weeks ago and still no cheque (check as you spell it).
  20. Nearly the way I do it. "There's no port left"
  21. I agree with you, that looks just terrible. Like being at a cheap restaurant where the only choice is "house wine". I'll probably order from the Premier list and pay the difference.
  22. I cannot be totally helpful to you but I have never booked excursions in the App. I have always, including very recently, booked them using the Cruise Personalizer. You could at least check there and see if the excursions are available to book as yet. I use the App and am quite comfortable with it but I haven't seen excursions listed on it.
  23. Do you know where she came from as the Sapphire bridgecam has been showing on her way to Singapore for quite a few days.
  24. I know you are not asking me but just my 2 cents worth - we were also on this cruise. We purchased the London Pass as we were staying in London for some days after the cruise. In addition to entry at most of the main attractions (you also never have to queue to buy tickets at each site) the Pass included one day on the HOHO bus and a river cruise. We did the river cruise and went all the way to North Greenwich and back. Also has an option to go the other direction. You could get on and off as much as you liked. We got good value out of the London Pass and you can get it for as many days as you want. Just do the sums and see if it works for you.
