That is the current price, except it doesn’t show in the cruise personalizer. We’re trying to figure out if it will be put back on the website, same price or purchase OB, still an option to switch out for Elite mini bar?

We know they are pushing. But, did he say if the coffee package is going to be still offered? If so, the new price effective 2 days ago?

We don’t know if that package is still in effect or if the price has increased and it is just not shown on the cruise personalizer under onboard services >beverage packages. Waiting for those OB as of Feb 20th to report back. ⏰

Taxi may be a little higher than Uber/Lyft. When you download the Uber App, you order the ride and it gives you an option to tip, 10%, 15%, etc. I wait until I’m into the ride or after to decide the tip. Usually, always 10%. That’s up to you. If you haven’t, download the App, set up your account and you’ll be ready. We’ve used it all over the world. There are men outside the port offering Uber or Lyft. Don’t know who they are and never order through them. I say, no thanks and use my phone to order a ride share. The pickup is all along the sidewalk just as you walk outside. The taxi, again 10-15% is what we do. But, make sure if you take a taxi anywhere, check the price first. If you get a chance, could you ask the IC baristas if they are selling the New Grounds coffee package? It’s the package that has 15 specialty coffees/teas, if so what is the current price? It’s not showing on the website. TIA

That link is not the Princess website. That is a third party website and if you look at the threads on this subject, you’ll see why it is being questioned. There are several threads on this. Princess has not addressed this, to my knowledge.

FYI: We paid $43 including tip for Uber from the port to our airport hotel in Dec. Easy. Didn’t take one offered at the port, wasn’t sure about them. I just ordered Uber when we got outside on the App, like usual. Came in 10 mins. Didn’t have to deal with the airport stops and waiting on a hotel shuttle.

You do have 7 months and doing PT and exercises may get you where you want to be. However, I’d tell DH, if after all this preparation, I don’t think I can do it, we may have to cancel. Thats’s always a possibility. I had knee surgery a few years ago and 3 mos later, we went on a Mediterranean cruise. It was a challenge, but I did half day tours instead of full day. The afternoons I would do my exercises and ice. It worked out, but some pain and swelling was expected, because the streets are cobblestone and some difficult to walk. I would suggest tours with less walking and maybe half day tours, if possible. You definitely should arrange a wheelchair in the airports, just for the distance, if you’re still having hip pain before your cruise. Best of luck to you!

Too bad they can’t put glass sliding doors on the entry side to the Piazza levels. Smoke wouldn’t be flowing all the time into the Piazza levels. Probably a bad design of ventilation. It’s a shame on these new ships, should be better ventilation.

It’s also not related to the Princess MedallionClass update, which I just did. So, it has to be the pricing update’s they’ve been doing for the last 2 weeks. I don’t think they’re finished yet.

Yep. My DMW still intact all bookings. Looks like just an update of the Plus and Premier packages and a payment and packages button. Takes you to the cruise personalizer for that cruise (actually works) and a FAQ, plus a push to buy one of the packages. NOTHING about the coffee package or the soda package. 😳

A lot of insurance companies will cover it too. That’s the way any medical expenses are or Dr. visits on the ship, you pay before leaving the ship. Then summit the expenses to your medical insurance and then whatever is not covered, to the insurance company that you purchased pre cruise.

I would bet that, due to the changes that they have been doing, it changed the cruises information pages. You may have to just delete and save them again.
