  1. Ships started back slowly after the restart, from none at first. Then, was because of covid. Now, some say they don’t if they’re short staffed. They do limit the amount they will do each evening. Majestic may be a combo if both, or they have not started it yet. Did they say not at all on your cruise? We had 3 waiters on our Crown cruise. It was during dinner hours too. They only did 4 each evening for the whole ship.
  2. I looked on this site and they look a little tight, but have a table and two chairs. You might put in your cabin number and find pictures of it or a similar one. https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/category-detail.php?c=2718
  3. To be clear…I’m not sure if this is information for the old package and has not been removed…or is it the new coffee package without a price??? All I know is, they removed the coffee package from the Cruise Personalizer last weekend, while making pricing updates. Did they eliminate it? Or, are they increasing the price and going to update the personalizer? IDK. I have emailed the IT department to see if it is an error with the updating? No answer from them. The effective date of the increases are supposed to be Feb 20th, according to the informational pages. So, we will know soon, I hope. We know they do not quickly update the informational pages. So, that may be old information. They may be updating again this weekend or fix their possible bug they created.
  4. I haven’t been in a mini suite on the Sky. Did you find a pic of the cabin’s balcony?
  5. They use your table if it is the big table. Some of the balconies have a tiny table, and in that case, they bring in a folding table and set it up.
  6. I would hope they wouldn’t change anything if you’ve pre-purchased. But, IDK. And… it could be an error again!
  7. Right! That’s what I thought happened last weekend, when the coffee and soda packages disappeared from the cruise personalizer. Believed it was missing due to a pricing update. The informational pages do show them. No price listed for the coffee package though. Did they not update the cruise personalizer or did they not update the informational pages. I don’t show them in my personalizer on my next cruises. Some say they paid in full and now they are gone. I’m hoping this weekend they will update this again. Not sure about the ships. It is supposed to be effective Feb 20th. Plan to ask friends OB then.
  8. I thought the mini suite on the Sky had enough room for a table and chairs? If there’s not room for the setup or it’s raining, they will set it up just inside near the sliding glass doors. Fabulous dinner on our last cruise!
  9. If you have a TA, you’d need to check with them in Monday. Send an email to them today. Various reasons. Is it part of a cruise, that technically is also sold as a b2b? Sometimes they hold cabins for different portions of the cruise some for the full length, connecting cabins, 3/4 guests, quarantine, crew or special invited guests, etc. You can tell if it’s the same category as you’ve paid, by looking at the deck plans.
  10. Same here. Everyone is different, but that’s what makes the work go around! We don’t see it that way either! 👀
  11. I know. I don’t like to be pushed into something I would not use. I just canceled one of my very expensive cruises with them. My next one is too close to cancel, so I canceled all my extra OB services, excursions, UBD, UBB, etc. Just because. We will just have to order coffee a la carte, unless they come up with a “coffee” package. Very disappointed.
  12. It is already a problem for us. Just realized I didn’t order the coffee package on my cruise in a few weeks, only because I was going to exchange Elite minibar for 2 coffee packages. I don’t have any options to buy a coffee package on my booking. Not updated yet. I bet this weekend we will see more changes on the website on these packages. Just have to recheck again. 😟
  13. They have updated the packages pages, Well, kind of…. They show the new ones effective Feb 20, 2023. They do show a soda package. Don’t know if this is a change? Don’t do this one. They show a new grounds coffee package in there, but no price listed, like I said….kind of updated it!😳 https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/food-and-dining/beverages/ So, did they forget to update the coffee and soda packages or did they forget to delete them? Always mistakes.
  14. Yes, order it at anytime. I just order it when I go through everything on the App. If you don’t want to pay $10 shipping, then order it for pickup at the port. You can order it either way, I just do it in the downloaded App. Welcome to Cruise critic.
  15. They are messing with the soda and coffee packages. They must think a coffee lover is a soda lover! NOT! Bottomline, money.
  16. We should all send a message to customer relations to bring back the coffee package. I thought they would increase the price of the package, but not eliminate it. If you have 1 coffee a day with the coffee package, it’s about $3 a coffee, now it’s $47 a day for a coffee. Guess a la carte is the only way to go. What about the Elite mini bar switch to the coffee package? Are they messing with that perk also? Maybe a time for us to take a pause too. customerrelations@princesscruises.com
  17. Now the crew has to learn another new package! Zero alcohol package. What a joke.
  18. Bring back our coffee package please. No notice, just a disappearing package over the weekend. Coffee lovers aren’t interested in packages with smoothies, juices and soda. $47.19 a day per person for coffee, really?
  19. It looks as though, according to their website search, that these new packages are effective Feb 20, 2023? Again, not clearly written. Looks like old packages in effect Dec 2022-Feb 19, 2023. Our Cruise Drink Packages – Variety at a Value New Updates Dec 2022Plus Beverage Package• Through February 19, 2023: View Plus Beverage Package Terms & Conditions No-Alcohol Drink Packages Zero-Alcohol Drink Package Zero-Alcohol Drink Package Previous Slide Next Slide Pause Photos Get Your Caffeine Fix Enjoy premium and specialty coffees and teas along with fountain sodas, fresh juices.
  20. They’ve gotten rid of the coffee package and turned it into a “Zero alcohol package” which is a coffee, smoothie, juice package. It’s outrageously priced for those of us that want just coffee and not all that other stuff. So, now what happens to the Elite minibar exchange that we did for the coffee packages?
  21. Well, we were correct. It seems that over the weekend they DID update pricing and either made an error and forgot to add the new packages for soda and coffee, or added it now after all the emails and calls. Regardless, if you’re a coffee drinker, why would you want soda, smoothies, water and juices combined? We only drink 1 or 2 coffees a day. That is outrageously expensive for a coffee. Multiply that times a 30 night cruise. $2800 for the two of us for coffee? What about our exchange for the mini bar for Elites? Very disappointing! It’s not just a price increase…It’s a push for us to all buy the Plus/Premier packages. I don’t see these packages on my bookings, as I’ve already purchased the coffee package. Would like to know WHEN these zero alcohol packages are effective? Does anyone know?
  22. You will find loads of help and info on the East Coast Departures thread: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/317-east-coast-departures/
  23. You must be ticketed in the class of service that you purchased from EZAir first. IF the fare is upgradeable, that would be up to the airline, based on their rules. These are usually deep discounted fares, so you may not be able to upgrade. You’ll just have to check with the airline.
  24. Yes, you can indicate that on the App under preferences. Or, ask your steward.
