  1. That’s great info. Didn’t apply in my case. We were Elite when I booked and the glitch affected me, not my DH. Strange… The IT department (email contact) finally fixed it. Chat and phone calls didn’t work for me.
  2. That’s what is shown on the website to do your cruise checklist. Very basic.
  3. When you go to the App…if you have a wellness check line… there is a place to upload your vaccination. IDK if they have opened this for your cruise. But, you should take your original vax card with you, if they check at the port. Ashore, I take a copy of my VAX card to show. Did not have a problem. Some passengers state they stayed OB because they were not vaccinated. I’m not sure if your cruisehealth tool is updated. You might go into a current roll call that is stopping in Grand Turk and ask this question. I’m not sure you’re going to get a definitive answer from a phone call to PCL or this forum.
  4. Who would update it? Who would fix the glitches? Great idea though……but too logical……😝
  5. First, I would make sure your account on the website is correct. If it is correct, I would email the address that was given here and make sure you give them… Full name booking no ship and sail date Ask them to correct your loyalty color. You can also call regular phone line and pick option to speak to Ocean Medallion’s team. It’s not a quick fix. This has been an issue with the App for a very long time. You can go ahead an order the medallion and it will automatically update with the right color IF they fix this error before sailing. Don’t count on it though. An easy switch at GS. You’re Platinum, so being in the same cabin, you can both wait in the priority Platinum lounge at the port. Not an issue. As far as shipping….I’ve ordered ocean medallion for several cruises for this year and it is 0 fee. I did NOT order any accessories, just the free medallion and lanyard that comes with it. I DO NOT have the beverage package. Seems the charge is only related to the extra or custom accessories. However, I’ve ordered all these prior to Feb 20th, IDK if there are charges after that. This color glitch happened to me last cruise. Wasn’t a big deal. Let us know if you get it changed pre cruise, would help others.
  6. 7. You can pick a time in arrivals on the App. It usually opens anywhere from 59 days to 12 days before sailing. You can see it … App Personal information and documents move down to “Suggested” click on Arrivals, pick a time. You’re too early right now.
  8. We’ve been on several grand class ships and all of those balconies on the Caribe deck were large 9x9 with about 1/2 covered. Our fave.
  9. We do this all the time. I print 1st page of each travel summary, showing the b2b’s. Security tells me to stop at the alcohol desk. No big deal. They do write down the cabin no, usually.
  10. Not bad. There’s a waiting area just outside the doors, straight ahead and you’ll see people waiting for private or shared rides. We order our pickup as soon as we get outside. They are usually very close-by the area on cruise day.
  11. Right on the bid invitation email, it quotes the price to bid for a category $ _____ pp which is “per person”.
  12. Never had a problem at Ft Lauderdale. We prefer Uber/Lyft at this port. Some taxis will overcharge you and not put on their meter.
  13. They wash, dry, iron and return on hangars to your cabin. It depends how many Suites/Elites are OB as far as return time. It has been taking about 2 days for return on most of our cruises in the last year. Yes, your steward will give you a bag and a form. Just leave it on your bed or give it to him/her. We’ve never had lost or damaged clothes, but some posters have. Congrats! 🎉
  14. Why not just use the press and hold “quote selection” then?
  15. The medallion is great to use OB. You just walk up to the bar or coffee counter and your info comes up on their screen to order your drinks. You can, if you want, order on your phone, through your TV, or a waiter if you prefer. You do not need to carry your phone around. We’ve used the Medallion on PCL since 2018, when they first started on the ships. When a bar waiter takes your order, they can see your info also, or scan your medallion and take the order. Or, the MDR will see your info when you go in for dinner. The reservation that you have, etc. We love the ocean medallion OB and it has so many advantages over the old fashioned card. Most cruise lines do have a similar technology. You will use the medallion to scan getting on and off the ship. We wear a bracelet with the medallion in it and barely remember it’s on. The medallion is not the same as the App. The App is just to check you in for the cruise. I say, if you’re having a lot of difficulty with the App, you might want to use the website version of the App to do your checkin. Or, email or call the ocean medallion IT team for help with the App. Cruise personalizer>checkin> (Just under the download Google Apple Bars) There’s a blue hyperlink “Try our website version” The phone entry has presented problems for some folks since the beginning. They corrected some, but not all the glitches. If you need help you can email: Askoceanmedallion@carnival.com Your full name Ship and Sail date Booking no Device you are using State exact problems you’re having
  16. Good. Sorry you’re having issues. Just ask if you have more questions.
  17. When you are on the App, under personal information and documents… Next line… Choose your medallion wearable… You would click on that, order the medallion, the free one and choose pick up at port.
  18. Yep. We guessed what they are doing on the App.
  19. Yes, that was the way it’s been, except the Enhanced Voyages say available within 48 hours. So, if you want to, check 24 hours before… Or not…😁
  20. Thanks for that response. Just so people know, if you have an Enhanced Voyage, you will see the wellness check on your Princess App and to follow the special covid protocols…..at least for now…until they change it again!😩
  21. Sounds like they are just asking the health questions at the port for cruises, unless you are on an Enhanced Voyage. I would just recheck the App 24-48 hours before sailing to see if they added anything. Several, whom have sailed recently, said they were just asked at the port.
  22. I ordered them, without any extra accessories, just the free medallion/lanyard and it shows 0 charge. So, there should not be any charges. I’ve heard many others say they were not charged either. Maybe if you order after Feb 20th? Go ahead and order them now, to be shipped, you should see 0 balance due. They have been mailing them about 16-14 days before, so you should get them before you leave home. If not, no big deal, you will pick them up at the port, and no, there is not a charge for them to pick up at the port. I’d much rather have them ahead of time, but that’s just me.
