  1. You’re right, in that it was a full blown App in 2021 and seemed to be overdeveloped and under tested. I did list in my post #15, my memory of using the OM and the initial beginnings of the App. We were on the first ships in 2018 & 2019 using the OM. That was the opportunity they had to develop and test before implementation of the App.
  2. No…Look at the TOP of this page. Cruise Critic 035 There have not been 35 posts, nor is my post #35.
  3. I agree, one post is a little strange. @Purple Gallinulethere are several threads on the PCL forum about this same issue of cold calls, you may want to read. It may or may not be legitimate, but I don’t do business that way. I’ve asked the PR department and CS for clarification, but never heard back.
  4. I sure hope not! I’ve sent a message to the onboard services team to see what is going on. I will post if any response, IF I do get a reply. I’m hoping it was a repricing error from IT last weekend. IDK
  5. I just see bottled water and canned sodas. No coffee or soda packages.
  6. # means number. 😆 035 may be a system control number for data on CC? It could be the country code for Monaco. Maybe we are all there and don’t know it. 😂
  7. Okay, probably when you initially waitlisted it, you had just 1 name selected. If you’re going soon, I’d just check with Shore excursions and tell them. Sometimes they add another bus if they have a big waitlist. You can use your obc once OB. Good luck! Just check the patter OB for their hours and see them right away.
  8. As far as health questions, they will ask you at the port. But, check your sailing and see what is required. People on here can’t answer that. https://www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/ If you’re on an enhanced voyage then check the rules by using the CruiseHealth tool on the website.
  9. Are you looking on the website and see incomplete? If you’re seeing it on the downloaded App, then look at all your entries and see if there is a red check or either of you, if you have a roommate. Correct each one until you see green checks. Did you order your wearable medallion? Order it, even if it is pickup at port. Did you pick an arrival time? Click on Personal information and documents move down to suggested… Click Arrivals ..pick any time you want You should be in the green now.
  10. As far as the ocean medallion, you can click on that again and see history. It is ill show both names if you ordered for both. When you order them, You order for each person. If you only see your name, then just shop for him. You can do this from just your account on the App.
  11. Did you try to book another excursion, just pretend…did it show the correct remaining OBC now?
  12. I agree. I think PCL is a nice mix. Well, usually.😂
  13. On the other hand, before DMW we could only dine in the Aft MDR for TD. We only could pick a time, early or late, not a specific dining room. Not different times, unless you did anytime dining and wait in line. I like what flexibility they are trying to give us. It’s worked for us using a table for 2 and speaking to the DRO or the DR managers. Seems a little chaotic the first night, but it also was similarly chaotic pre DMW. It has taken time for the staff to get used to this setup and seems to be working better now.
  14. Yes, it takes a couple of days to populate. The problem now, is people try to make it link, call and have people messing with it and it just doesn’t work. Sometimes, creating more problems.
  15. He will absolutely be fine. Doesn’t seem as dressy, after the restart. as in the past. But, in Europe they do dress up a little more than we do out of the US. Whatever makes him comfortable. You’ll see a little bit of everything.
  16. Don’t rush it. Never try to link a booking. It’s a link that is not functional, although it can confuse things. Never register again either. It takes a couple of days to populate…by itself. Recheck the App again tmrw. Don’t call in, Don’t chat. The more you mess with it, the more problems that may arrive.
  17. I agree with @Sox Fan Cruisereven though they are not a Cubs Fan! 😁 It will be more laid back on Princess. We like it a lot better. However, we were on Caribbean cruises last year over Spring break on Princess. They had some crazy low fares and it attracted many Spring breakers! It was a little crazy at times, but fun. Not nearly as much partying as on CCL though, but plenty enough. 😳
  18. Yes. It usually shows on the same place you picked for the arrivals group on the App.
  19. There is an option on the call tree for Princess Tour/excursions desk. I would probably cancel wait list and redo it. You have an option to select both names on the excursion. Or, just call them.
  20. Do all of your checkin requirements on the App. What is incomplete, will show a red checkmark. If no red marks, then order your wearable ocean medallion on the App, either shipping or pick up in port. See if that gives you green!
  21. Could be because they removed it from the website over the weekend. Really ? In reference to coffee package. Probably a pricing error…
  22. Why can’t the covid protocols for enhanced voyages be more clear and not have conflicting statements? CruiseHealth Tool, FAQ, the Princess App and the cruise personalizer all vary. The TA’s, PCL Customer Service, Chat, Dept MGR’s also have varied answers. Example CruiseHealth tool: Testing Requirements All guests ages 5 and older are required to take a medically observed COVID-19 Test. PCR or medically observed Antigen COVID-19 test taken within 3 days prior to embarkation, or Medically observed or self-administered antigen home test taken within 3 days before embarkation. So, is a medically observed test required as in bold bullet 1? Or, bullet 3, states self administered. Does the self administered test have to be medically observed, as stated in bold bullet 1? Please clarify if they all must be medically observed, like an emed test would be. We have been trying to clarify this for over a month.
  23. Yes! Most importantly, train them and recurrent training for current employees.
  24. Carry on bags, never in your checked bag.
