  1. We had a similar issue flight interruption but Mar 19-21 FLL. Our flight was cancelled and no available flights for 2 days, found out as we were disembarking the ship. Had to scramble to find a hotel, rebook flight just like Buckeye10640. I screenshot everything I could…cancelled flight, availability on airline website, new booking, etc. We got home Mar 21st and I filed a claim that evening. Princess PVP insurance, still shows assigned. Over 8 weeks ago. I called AON from the hotel on March 19 and was told the hotel, meals, transportation were all covered under PVP and submit when I got home. Has anyone heard back yet from the March spring break madness? TIA
  2. That’s good to know,. I’m glad it worked for you. This year, I tried to refare 6 different cruises after final payment. PCL refused to refare all of them for my agent, who held for 3 hours on the phone. One I booked on Monday and paid it in full. It went down on Wednesday and they would not refare it. But, I will keep trying or just go through my CVP.
  3. Ours on the CB was Aloha mid ship to forward. Many I have read were on the Aloha deck. That’s why I said maybe check on the current roll call for Magestic, someone may check it for you. Here’s a link to the current cruise:
  4. You might go onto the roll call for a current Magestic cruise and ask this question. This can certainly change from ship to ship.
  5. If you do want to see boarding groups: on the App: Click on these … Travel checklist > Personal information and documents (move down) > Suggested (move down)> Arrival and departure groups
  6. You might look at the Forum UK cruisers for suggestions. Heres a link to that forum: Testing In Southampton… Hope this helps. Remember things are changing constantly, so recheck…
  7. According to PCL website: quote Voyages that embark in Canada: Based on current Canadian requirements for cruising, all guests ages five and above will require a medically observed negative viral COVID-19 test result taken before boarding: Within 2 days for Antigen Within 72 hours for PCR Children aged two to four (who are not yet eligible for COVID-19 vaccines) will require a medically observed negative viral PCR COVID-19 test within 3 days before boarding, plus an antigen test taken at the terminal (complimentary). Guests who travel internationally should ensure they understand all entry and airline requirements to travel from their home country and the destinations they plan to visit, including where health authorities may require pre-travel COVID-19 testing. unquote So PCR do within 72 hours of sailing on Weds. If you sail at 4pm on Sat. then get the pcr after 4 pm on Weds. Or, if you do an proctored antigen or at a clinic, then anytime on Thurs or Friday is okay if sailing on Saturday, as it’s 2 days before not hours. Good luck!
  8. Travel checklist Personal information and documents (move down) Suggested (move down) Arrival and departure groups Boy, that was hidden. Lol
  9. Did you do the latest IOS update 15.5 on your Apple mobile phone before trying the app?
  10. On the App: You also would see at the top of the page on the MedallionNet page to purchase it….says as a Platinum/Elite member you will get a 50% discount…. You can call Princess to fix this. I would also look on the website at your account and make sure it is correct.
  11. What airport are you flying out of? What airline? This is a trip interruption and covid related, it should be covered by your insurance. I would check with Princess also to see how to get reimbursed. Let us know what happens.
  12. A lot of us choose not to go to those events, because of that exact thing…. unvaccinated people and crowds. We go to restaurants where we can sit outside. Cruise lines boast about being the safest vacations because of the vaccination rates on their ships and their covid protocols! A lot different than going into unvaccinated crowds.
  13. Totally agree with you!!! It’s not that hard to protect yourself and others just by wearing a mask in crowded areas and the elevator. I hope you are doing well now. Take care
  14. There have been huge delays on ships embarkation, because people did not complete ArriveCAN ahead of time. I believe you can do it 96 hours before your embarkation day. Download the App now and then fill out the required info on the ArriveCAN app BEFORE your embarkation day. It’s all explained in the app.or on the Canada website. https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19/arrivecan.html Theres also a link to the App from the princess website. maybe you know this already? And this is in addition to the embarkation? Just realized that. If so, disregard.
  15. That’s too bad, he can’t help. I’d call early when they first open. Good luck!
  16. Your CVP should be able to help at Princess. That is why you have one. At least get on the top of the waitlist. Also, as soon as you get onboard, see when shore excursions opens, go to their desk and explain this to them. They will then, be in charge of excursions. You will still have a great time!
  17. On the other hand, a TA can’t do a refare n most cases. Whereas, Princess or your CVP can refare or reprice when the price drops after final pymt. Happened to me many times. 😞
  18. So for the players club offers, you could call Princess or your CVP would know how to book it? Are they strictly for the cruises shown? I had a choice of 4 or 5 areas of the world.
  19. Me too. Wasn’t sure what to do with this. Did you book it? Are you supposed to put casino into it like a promo code? strange…
