It shouldn’t matter. But, I would just leave the old app on the phone. I would go to the App store and download the new app. You will see the new one looks different. It’s a royal blue color without a circle on the App.

Yes, fill out everything on the checkin on the app. You will get a QR code and boarding information will show on the App about 11 days before sailing. Print out your travel summary, bring your passports and any other documents required and check in at the terminal. You will pick up the ocean medallion at the port. They do not send you an email. You may look at your travel summary, right above the itinerary and it will say boarding times and sail time. We always go earlier than the time shown, so we can get checked in and in line to board. The travel summary may not show boarding time, as they have been making changes and showing it only on the App about 11 days before Sailing. Who knows? That may change again.

I would check with the Aust/NZ forum, as SYD may be a little different. Someone else started a thread similar to yours. You might check it out for information. We are early boarders too. Love to get settled, have lunch in the MDR and relax.

No, like I said, I have not seen the Silverado WMD offered $40, offered since March 2023. I always call and ask them once OB. They’ve only had Caymus WMD ar $140 plus 18%. I don’t know if it even exists anymore.

We take a lot of TA’s over or around Easter. Some decorations in the piazza. There usually is an inter-denominational service in the wedding chapel, depending on the ship. We had a guest who was a catholic priest and was granted permission to do a special mass. We’ve gotten off the ship, in the Azores and Spain many times for services on Easter.

I looked for reviews for you and found the cabin next to it with no mention of noise from 2018. Perhaps the very old review of 2008 had something going on? They should have reported noise to GS. Maybe someone who’s sailed recently can advise. Looks like a nice cabin. BTW, welcome to the Princess forum!

If you booked it online with Princess, you would call in and tell them to mark it No upgrade. If you booked with a TA or CVP call them to mark it. But, recheck it periodically, as mentioned, they sometimes UG it anyway.

Thank you for the pictures. They didn’t provide any cabins numbers? I like the cabana room that has an enclosed balcony, looking out to sea with lounger and fool stool. Pictures 2-3-4 of the actual balcony. The others look like a mass cabana deck. How is that relaxing? Would be great if you had a large group traveling together.
