  1. Not clear to me. The Island Casino is no smoking? TIA
  2. You don’t say who booked this. If you booked with a CVP or TA, you should call them to change it. If you booked directly, then Princess has to change it. You cannot change it yourself online. It must match your passport, just as your flights must match your government issued ID. I would try calling again and pick the option Ocean Ready and insist speaking to a supervisor. You may get a competent agent. Or, you could try email for customer relations. Explain to them everything you’ve done so far. Call when they first open on a weekday, 0600 Pacific time. Not on the weekend. Let us know. The IT email if you want to try it: askoceanmedallion@carnival.com
  3. Welcome to Cruise Critic and Princess. Your family trip sounds great! What a fun time! I would suggest that you check out the Alaska forum on cruise critic. Loads of info. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/33-alaska/ While researching, ask questions and we’ll try to answer. Thread on Majestic:
  4. Would not leave home without it! Lol I have one in my carryon and one in my checked bag! TSA, from the US, allows in carry on, if it does not have a blade. Or, just put it in your checked bag. NP If you’re originated outside the US, check their regulations. We’ve never had an issue with one in the checked bags anywhere.
  5. Agree! Everyone just do the math for yourself. No worries.
  6. They can slide those under the door, instead of enter the room.
  7. This was PCL who would recycle, IF they had a box to dump them, right after scanning to disembark. They don’t do that now. Just an idea. GS told me they recycle the ones turned in, when they no longer work. They stay charged about 30 Days. Longer cruises, we have to get a new one at GS. GS agent rolled her eyes, so not so sure they do recycle. 🥴
  8. They said these were recycled. At least the ones you turn in, because they are inoperable after 30 days or so. They give you a new one. This was GS on Sapphire. They weren’t so sure if that was really true. Hmmm IMO, they should have a bucket to drop them, after you scan them to leave the ship. Of course, that opens a whole new can of worms. 🥴
  9. I see Oct 31, 2024 Grand Princess 33 night? Do you have the right year?
  10. Yep! More Mickey Mousing Management! 😳
  11. That’s the most important thing. IT needs to fix your data on the App. Let us know.
  12. If you’re traveling with someone, have them try to pull it up by logging in with the booking number also. IDK, what they are doing with the new App. Hopefully, they will get back to you. They do work by date of travel, so don’t know when you’re traveling. A lot of folks seem to have corrupt data. Keep rechecking the App as it may appear. If you don’t hear back soon, you could email customer relations and ask for their help. Your TA/CVP may be able to escalate. customerrelations@princesscruises.com
  13. We’ve used the Medallion since 2018. That’s when it first came out and loved it. It has improved quite a lot since then, but I can’t imagine going back to a card. It makes it so easy to get on/off the ship, into your room, walking up to the coffee bar to order a drink or the bar. I hope you will just try it and see what you think. Enjoy your cruise!
  14. Would send a test to me, just quote me….test. TIA
  15. Clear your cache/history and then try to login using your booking number on the new App. See if that brings your booking up.
  16. Don’t try to add or reregister, as it can create more problems. Do you have a cruise before this Sun cruise? The new App only shows your next cruise. All other cruises you have to login using the booking number for each one. If it is the next cruise, try logging in with your booking number on the new App.
  17. Do not worry about this. OB, they really won’t do anything, except maybe send a message to IT, which you have already done. Once OB, you probably will see it as being the correct loyalty.
