  1. Go to NCL.com homepage, scroll all the way down, click on "Apps and Downloads".
  2. A Google search using your subject line will get you temps, water temps, rainfall. Easy peasy. πŸ˜‰
  3. If you already splurged on an aft-facing balcony how much more do you want to splurge on a Haven cabin? Is that a budget killer? Personally for me, I wouldn't. That's money towards the next cruise. πŸ™‚
  4. Last time I signed up for 3 years on a ship it ended up being 21 years in the Navy. πŸ™‚
  5. I like to go and graze up in the buffet and begin seven days of eating food that's bad for me that I don't eat at home. πŸ™‚
  6. If you don't have rules, how can you break 'em? That's why. πŸ˜‰
  7. Silly question, how is anyone supposed to know the odds that you're going to get sick? Go on a cruise, live life, have some fun. You can't live in a bubble.
  8. Liquor and Beverage Policies:: https://www.ncl.com/faq#!#can-i-bring-water-or-soda-board
  9. Used to be the age was (still is?) 12 as cutoff for the kids menu. I wouldn't expect my 15 year old to order off of it.
  10. Some good info there. I would recommend posting it also in the First Time Cruiser Forum.
  11. Excursions for me are definitely not a must do. I enjoy the port days when people are off the ship and it's quiet and you have plenty of room to just chill out on the ship. I think one of the mistakes newer cruisers make is trying to cram too much in to a seven day cruise. Now, if you haven't already go to the Mexican Riviera forum and post the same thing and peruse all the threads there. There is a lot of great information available. 12. Well, what kind of comfortable shoes do you wear at home? πŸ˜‰
  13. What is the significance of having a room near a glass elevator?
  14. I can give you half an answer, this is what the FAQ's still say: If there is a service issue can the service charges be adjusted on board? Guest satisfaction is the highest priority at Norwegian Cruise Line. We have structured a guest satisfaction program designed to handle any concerns about service or on-board product quickly and efficiently. However, in the event a service issue should arise during your cruise please let our on-board guest services desk staff know right away, so that we can address these in a timely manner. It is our goal to reach a satisfactory solution to any issue when it happens and make sure our guests can focus on enjoying their cruise. Should your concerns not be met with satisfaction you can adjust the charges.
  15. It's strictly up to you whether or not you want to leave an additional gratuity. You certainly aren't obligated to since you already paid the mandatory tips. From what I've observed most don't tip extra and still get good service. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your cruise.
  16. Recommend you do a quick Google for Tampa Cruise Terminal, they'll have contact numbers you can call and ask if you don't get a quick answer here. You may also want to ask on the Florida Departures forum. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/386-florida-departures/
  17. Shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that prices are going up for everything considering what global inflation is like. Grocery prices are up, utilities, gas, you name it. None of those folks notified me of price increases but I don't feel like they are trying to "sneak in" a price increase. It is what it is.
