Keep in mind once a ship leaves the port of origin they don't always make it to every stop on the itinerary. Something to think about.

If you click on the Forums link at the top of the page and scroll down you will see the Ports of Call forums. The Caribbean section has forums for all of those places that is full of great info on things to do, places to see and transportation.

LOL....of course it can. But most likely it won't and in this case the OP wouldn't be distraught about having appropriate ID for sailing.

You're not carrying your passport around town with you. It will be in a safe place at home ready to be used for travel.

Another reason why it's good for travelers to put out a few bucks and have a passport. Hope it works out well for the OP. 🙂
