  1. @aberdeener Thank you for your new topic on the Ask a Cruise Question forum! However, it is the forum for general questions regarding cruising. Your inquiry concerns a specific cruise line ship and is off topic there. To help you out I have moved your new topic to the Royal Caribbean International forum where it will be on topic. The majority of your fellow Cruise Critic members that have sailed Allure of the Seas frequent this forum and provide feedback here. Browse through the thread titles on this forum looking for threads of interest. You will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that may be of interest to you. I suggest you use the Follow feature on this thread or any other thread where you are interested in the replies. That way you will not have to go looking to see if there are new replies because they will come looking for you as notifications! If you need more info on how to do it, please click the following: How to: Follow Topics & Forums (Subscribed Threads/Forums Info) Happy sails, Host Kat
  2. @Romee1 A clip of your previous user name account: When it opens click Find Content Here is a clip of the next screen: Under All Activity, click Posts Not all of your previous 77 posts will show up. It will be just the last few. There have been a lot of changes around here since your last post in 2017. The Cruise Critic message board software switched from vBulletin to Invision Community in October 2018 and has been tweaked often since then. Also, we moved to new servers in May 2019. Changes mean a lot of the 'old' stuff you mention is archived and no longer available. Now regarding you having two user name accounts, members are allowed only one account. Please contact CC Help Michell, Community Support Assistant, at help@cruisecritic.com. Let her know about both user name accounts and the email addresses you used on each account. She will then be able to merge your two accounts to the user name you want to keep. That way you will have not lost your previous post count. Make sure you read the pinned threads (aka Stickies) on the top of the first page of this Help forum. You will find very important instructions or information there. Due to the changes I mentioned above, some things may have changed since you last used the message boards. FYI: The Message feature is disabled for members. It is available for use by Administrators & Hosts ONLY. We can use it with each other and to members. If one of us contacts a member via the feature, the member cannot reply back. Hope this will be helpful! Host Kat
  3. You are most welcome! I too use a CPAP. Mine came with instructions to never put it in checked luggage, only carry on. And in the included bag with all the well-padded hidey-holes for the various parts.

  17. @stanm Howdy Stanly & welcome back to the message boards! I see it has been a while since you have posted. To help you out I have moved your thread to the Need Help Using the Forums? Check Here! forum. This is where members find assistance in using these message boards. The first 16 threads at the top of the first page in this forum have been pinned to stay at the top. In our previous software, they were called Stickies since they were "stuck on top" and always stayed at the top of the threads in a forum. Almost all of the Cruise Critic forums have them. They are usually the most asked questions or important information concerning the forum they are in. Browse through the other thread titles in this forum looking for threads of interest. You will probably find your fellow Cruise Critic members have already posted questions and received answers that may be of interest to you. To find your fellow Cruise Critic members sailing with you & if a Meet & Mingle is being planned, you need to read through & then post on the specific Roll Call thread for your cruise. Please read What is a Roll Call? Everything you Need to Know and How To: Create A New Roll Call. For more information about our famous Roll Calls, please read the Roll Calls and Our Policy Regarding Facebook and Roll Calls sections in the Guidelines we all agreed to follow when registering for our free Cruise Critic memberships. At this time, the cruise lines in partnership with Cruise Critic for official Meet & Mingle parties have reported the online registrations for their parties has been paused or cancelled. Some Roll Call members are planning their own get-togethers at sail away or another specific time & place aboard the ship. You will need to check out the Roll Call thread for your cruise to see if the others are planning some sort of get-together or not. For more information concerning the lines in partnership and not in partnership click here: Meet & Mingle I suggest you use the Follow feature on this new thread or any other thread where you are interested in the replies. Especially the Roll Call thread for your cruise! That way you will not have to go looking to see if there are new replies because the replies will come looking for you as notifications! 19. @talkorpi You are most welcome! In October 2018 the Cruise Critic message board software was changed from vBulletin to Invision Community and has been tweaked often since then. Also, we moved to new servers in May 2019. Soooo, changes happen! 😀 Again, from the Guidelines: "Question: Why don't you allow us to post about other cruise sites? My post contains *** and then you removed it! Answer: Actually, we do allow the legitimate linking to information at another cruise site, as long as that link isn't posted in an attempt to drive traffic to that site (in the sole discretion of Cruise Critic), or if the posting of such site is meant to cause disruption within the community. If a website's url or name is replaced by a series of *****, it may mean that particular website had spammed our community with advertisements for their site, or that member(s) may have posted in a way that we consider self-promotion or advertising." Please remember the Hosts are non-paid volunteers, not Management, working the boards when their real life permits. Most Management & Administrators work regular weekday business hours. Please be patient for your post to be reviewed. Glad to be of service, Host Kat

  21. @BobbiWest Bobbi, Welcome back to the Cruise Critic message boards! I see it has been a while since you have posted. Thank you for your new topic on the Cruise Blogs & Websites forum! To research your ports of call for information regarding private tours, excursions or transportation, please go to the Ports of Call - Europe forums. 23. Now they have been split out of the 2016 thread & merged into this new thread. The 2016 thread has been locked.
  24. @ontheweb There are previous threads on this forum from last year when badges for "LIVE" and/or "Just Back" Trip Report threads first started being awarded. In the Announcements section, see Live Cruise Reports Page. Note it states the following information: If you have a Trip Report you would like to see on this page, please send us a message to let us know: community@cruisecritic.com That would be the first thing to do to nominate a "LIVE" and/or "Just Back" Trip Report thread to appear on the Live Cruise Reports page. As LauraS states in her post #84 on one of those previous threads from last year mentioned above, that will start the wheels rolling for the badge to be awarded to the member for their "LIVE" and/or "Just Back" Trip Report being on the Live Cruise Report page. We've seen over 490 members attain this badge, many of those more than once. It looks something like this but with a little oval icon on top saying Rare: Now this year, in an attempt encourage members to upload their reviews they post on the boards for publication by Cruise Critic at Write a Review, there is a new badge. It looks something like this and is known as the "Great Review" badge: Since discussion of the management of this Community, including post removals, member suspensions, or any rule of participation is not allowed on the boards, re any further questions/comments/feedback note the following from the Guidelines: "... If you have any questions or comments regarding our posting guidelines or any content found on our message boards please be sure and let me know. I'll be happy to discuss them with you.LauraSSenior Manager, Communitycommunity@cruisecritic.com ..." Please send your email to LauraS at community@cruisecritic.com. Also, please send the email from your Cruise Critic email address of record and be sure to mention your Cruise Critic user name. This is so your membership can be verified. Any reply will be sent to your Cruise Critic email address of record. If your current Cruise Critic email address of record is not correct and needs to be updated before you send your email, please see the following: How to: Change your Cruise Critic Email Address or User Name Hope this will be helpful, Host Kat
  25. @bkrickles1 Your post and the replies have been split out of a 2016 thread to be a new thread.
