  1. The unlimited package on the left side is the package included if you select as the FAS promo. There is no limit to the amount of drinks but the bartenders could cut you off if they feel you are too drunk. You are essentially getting a $15 credit toward a drink. Say a drink is $16, you get the credit for the $15 and pay $1 plus .20 for the gratuity. For the Premium Plus, you can upgrade for $34.80 per person per day. This does not have price limit but not all of the liquors on the right side of the flyer are going to be available on every ship. You will also have access to Starbucks, bottled waters and bottles of wine(at dinner).
  2. The SPF long sleeve swimwear has become quite common. You will not look unusual and no one at NCL will question it. Enjoy the pool worry free.
  3. Haven passengers are under the same rules as non-haven passengers in terms of drinks. You will pay for drinks that you order. If you have the basic Unlimited package, its $15/drink and you pay the difference plus 20% of the difference if you go over. The upgrade Premium Plus package is pretty much everything minus a few "experiences" that are not included. If you can swing the Plus upgrade, it is worth it in the Haven. They usually better stock the bar with the higher end liquors than they do the regular bars. The Haven bartenders are also really great and will make cocktails that are not covered under the basic package if you upgrade.
  4. Is the TA OBC or any of the various other refundable?
  5. Like your list but the Aqua 80 show on the Oasis is amazing. Would be tough for me to not put that at 1.
  6. Thank you. NCL is selling it at $119 per person but I get the $50 credit so better to book on board.
  7. I have been charged taxes on dining while on the Mississippi River when we have cruised out of NO. Maybe Florida doesn't require taxes on food while in their waters?
  8. Pretty much. The T&C say solo passengers get 50% off. You can look at it as both passengers get a 50% discount or 1st passenger pays full fare and the 2nd gets it free. Six of one, half dozen of the other.
  9. Not a refund. Its just cheaper for the unlimited plans if you have not used the free wi-fi minutes. The cost of unlimited wi-fi is $209.93 for seven days but if you are upgrading from the free minutes, its only $109.93. If you are able to wait until after midnight of the first day without using minutes, you can still get the full $100 discount plus 1 less day of plan charges.
  10. The OP was talking about price changes before final payment. You can still take advantage of price changes before final payment but it may take away benefits that the TA provides because they are now getting paid less. It can also take away any NCL perks that have changed since you booked. The FAS perks don't normally change but perks like double Latitude points can change.
  11. Royal will not send the Oasis class ships to any port that needs a tender. Not sure about their other class ships.
  12. The question was if the free prepaid gratuities that their TA is providing is actually being paid or are the DSC just not being paid.
  13. This was more directed at the poster that said you can remove the DSC if you want to. Whether you should remove the DSC is a huge argument on every cruise line board.
  14. It sounds like this was a perk given to you by your travel agent as incentive to go with them and not a perk that NCL provided. If so, the TA is just paying the DSC from their commission. Its up to you if you feel you need to tip crew members anything additional but to them it looks like you prepaid the DSC already.
  15. The slides mostly go through the Family Suite w/ Master Bedroom cabins. They are not Haven but do come with a butler and concierge. They also list the 2 bdr Haven cabins as having obstructed views in cabin 15300, 14900, and 13900.
  16. My understanding is that its not necessarily the highest bid that the algorithm takes. It considers many factors.
  17. Do they still have the grab and go breakfast in the Observation Lounge on the last day?
  18. Yes but as BirdTravels mentioned, they can be slow to get it. If you are going to Taste or Savor, there is a bar right outside you can grab a drink on the way in. Also have the Skyline bar that is not too far from the Manhattan Room.
  19. I am one of the limited few that waits until day 2 to upgrade. If you hold off on using the minutes on day 1, you get full credit for the free Wi-Fi and pay one less day in the upgrade. If the ship is not leaving until 4, I am going to be too busy with dinner and exploring the ship by the time we are out if cell range.
  20. The email is correct about using it for this cruise. It just needs to sail 120 days from when you purchase the certificate. It’s usually 2 for 1 deposits which means $250 for two people. The certificate will cover both deposits since it’s $300.
  21. Anyone know what the walk up prices are currently? I think it was $99pp when it closed.
  22. For the a la carte restaurants, it’s 1 app, 1 soup/salad, 1 entree, 2 side and 1 dessert. There is no price limitation but a couple of items on each menu have a dining package supplement charge. These are items like the surf and turf in Cagneys or the filet with foie gras in Le Bistro. The restaurants with the cover charge, you get what’s available with the cover charge. The restaurants with individual smaller items like Food Republic, you get 4 items per credit.
  23. To this point, look out for cruisefirst deals where you can purchase a certificate for $250 and get $500. You can make the purchase and apply the $500 to cover the deposit. Normally its $150 for $300.
