Yup I've had that happen multiple times when I used to go to the bars more.

Yup, it was shocking. But, hal seems to love to do this. They think they are going to build up clientele this way. It would be interesting to know if that happens. I just hope they don’t remove the crew appreciation because they want to tip “their people” themselves.

While some might not be interested there will be plenty more that are. I work for a company that are building power plants. I am not confident that our power sources around the world are going to be able to keep up with all the demands. My electricity goes off frequently as it is for a few hours at a time already and I live in a large city. What happens when everyone has to plug their cars in to charge? I see very little excitement for things like electric planes.

There should be an option to purchase this by those that want that experience. It means nothing to me. I pay plenty for my cruises, over $5k usually for the cheapest balcony. Meanwhile there is a thread for someone that is wondering if a free cruise was a good deal 🙄. This is not related to a casino deal. They also wondered if they could get have it all for the cruise for $99.

I still carry paper so I have my boarding pass out. I don’t need to manage my phone on top of it.

Prices in December at that time are pretty cheap on any line. You can’t compare March to that. I paid multiples of that price for my cruise in the fall.

They can see your status on your boarding pass or cruise card. I don’t wear pins or medals anywhere. It’s just not my thing.

Is a free cruise a good deal? Why wouldn’t it be? Why would have it all be only $99 after they give you a free cruise? It’s going to be at least $45 to $50 per day usd.

A lot of people seem to like to do just that. Mine haven’t seen the light of day since I got mine. I would never bring it with me because it means nothing to me personally.

Exactly. When I used a pcc she told me I could only get another vh. I mean that doesn’t even make sense. I got that straightened out quick. There should be no problem whatsoever as long as the cabin category is available.

On wcb’s thread on the zuiderdam it sounds like there was a tiny amount of people invited on theirs something like 9 or 10 but that seems very low. I hope I didn’t misunderstand that. It will be interesting to see how this evolves.

Thank you. I think the op is referring to the awards ceremony near the end of the cruise. Those seem to be less jammed with people.

I work in an office but it takes a while to get there and I don’t like to be rushed. I usually get up at 4 unless I take my lunch then it’s 3:45. Not taking my lunch in much. I like to get in early because no one is there. If I’m lucky I get home by 5.

You made me laugh with your getting up at 4:15am. That would be sleeping in for me on a work day. Enjoy your cruise. Looking for to hearing about it.

@Hlitnerlets be honest here, it’s “not a few dollars” for club orange. I’m a 5 star who buys club orange and I don’t care who buys it. I don’t want to hear if I did “exotic” cruises it would make a difference for tendering. That’s such a lame comment because first club orange offers very little advantage on non pinnacle ships and “exotic” cruises are just going to attract higher level Mariners. People should be more concerned with all the free cruises hal offers to every Tom, dick and Harry.
