  1. It does not apply to the pool deck or the outside decks...you can hang out there in a chaise all night with a bottle if you want.
  2. With respect, your TA should have better explained coverage to you and you were delivered a policy that detailed coverage. This has nothing to do with Regent...they upheld their obligations under the contract. The best you can hope for is some sort of Future Cruise Credit if your TA is able to get their Regent Account Rep on board with it.
  3. Regent allows alternative footwear for medical issues.
  4. Agreed, everyone should have the personal honor to adhere to the rules...
  5. There is a Social Hostess who will arrange everything for you...
  6. If you wear a shirt with a collar, you are fine.
  7. It's finally getting to the point where we can recognize 1 or 2 songs a day lol...it really needs to be updated again if they want younger guests.
  8. Cruise lines don't refund cruises to US guests for changing ports...only for cancelling the cruise itself. I am sorry your travel agent didn't tell you the terms of the ticket you were buying or suggest that you purchase insurance.
  9. All cabins get free laundry now...
  10. My personal opinion is that to best understand Regent, the TA must have traveled extensively on board and done so paying the fare as guest.
  11. Use a TA who has 200 paid nights on Regent...its the only way you will get what you are paying for.
  12. I will be the top of that list....losing Navigator and losing the Pool Deck for dinner is a huge blow.
  13. Correct and correct. I think, if any goes, it will be Navigator and they will reuse the name for a new ship. We will know for sure when the rest of 2026 cruises are announced.
  14. If it is a comment from a friend who works at Regent, he won't quote the source. None of us want to get friends into trouble.
  15. If we are playing the guessing game, I think Regent keeps V and M (due to extensive refits late 2025 - and you don't do that if you are selling) and sells Navigator and re-uses the name on a new ship.
  16. OBC is fine - you can do it as soon as you log in. IDK what the fee is - it is free if you are Gold or higher and free in Concierge (I think).
  17. It has nothing to do with your post but I love to see a person who has traveled on many different cruise lines...it gives you a wider range of experience and I have found it to be extremely enlightening. I do the same.
  18. This would be the position directly above entry-level...
  19. Time will tell but experience shows they have know about this for a long time and a couple of letters isn't going to change their corporate strategy.
  20. Nobody said they have different terms....but when you deal with dozens of different transportation companies it is understandable that they perform differently. You cannot expect every transfer for every guest for every cruise to go off without a hitch. The vast majority are perfect...but when you deal with tens or hundreds of thousands of passengers, there are bound to be issues.
  21. Regent subs out all transfers. There is no relation between transfers in different ports nor any change in what Regent has done pre- or post- Covid. I have a client who has spent millions with Regent and Regent "lost" their private car transfer in one port.....out of thousands of nights. It happens.
  22. Regent can give you the name and address of port agent in each port and they should be able to receive a package for you. I have shipped things to guests on board before.
