  1. At some point yes. I'm not Flowrider addict like some are here. This is our first time on an Oasis class ship so I'm not sure where my "hang out" will be. Each ship I usually end up in one or two place a lot.
  2. Sadly I won't be on on the 12th. We were scheduled for the 12th to be aboard with Belle's group but had to change to the 5th because of a conflict. I was gutted, after all of the conversations through Covid I was so looking forward to meeting so many. Raj is a good one. 🙂 Glad he's taking care of you.
  3. Interesting, I didn't know this. I have never been sick enough on cruise ship to seek medical attention... This treatment regimen came to me from my cousin who is a physician. He is a strong believer that the best defense is a strong immune system. He rattled on about T-cells and some other thing too but that all went over my head. He works primarily with geriatric patients. The second time I got covid I called him and this was his recommendation.
  4. Ok... Dave's Covid treatment regimen. 500 mg Azithromycin (one a day for three days) 1000mg Quercetin 5000iu D3 50 mg Zinc 1000 mg Elderberry 2 Airborne 1000 mg imune support 4 DayQuil liquicaps (2 in the morning, 2 at dinner) 2 NyQuil liquicaps at bedtime Covid is gone after day 3... This recommendation is not intended to replace real medical information for your physician. Always consult with real medical professionals before embarking on any course of treatment. This recommendation is in no way guaranteed to work for you as your circumstances may differ from the trial participant. No warranty is expressed or implied. Your result may be different. God bless the King.
  5. What do you mean hit or miss? Did they screw up the eggs or were they too busy?
  6. If you are interested shoot me an email. Covid and it's treatment are controversial and I don't want to sully Dani's lovely conversational thread with any contentious Covid discussion.
  7. Not quite but close, the original recipe version was the longest lasting but the only symptoms was the cough and the loss of taste and smell. v.2, v.3 and v.4 have had more sinus issues but symptoms have been very shorted lived. I honestly am not sure which of the last three were the least severe. They have been indistinguishable in my memory. Today is day 3 of symptoms and I woke up feeling 90%. After my morning intake of medicine I feel 100% and plan on working outside alone all day. The most noticeable difference this time is that in all previous versions there was a fatigue until symptoms cleared up. There has been no fatigue this time.
  8. I got original recipe version way back in early 2020, (March 2020, if I remember). The next one was three weeks post booster in the middle of the Omicron surge. I tested December 26th 2021, and version number three was back in the spring but I can't remember when exactly. And now today. One more time and I get free set of steak knives.
  9. Yes they will have a suite checkin line once past security. You can arrive up to an hour in advance of your checkin time if you don't get an early checkin time.
  10. Thanks, my only experience has been on other ships. I thought it was universally Chops, good to know.
  11. Thanks, It'll be great to meet on board. I don't normally test just because of a little minor cold symptom but I was supposed to be in the presence of a number of very immunocompromised people tonight and tomorrow so felt it was prudent. I'm feeling better already, thanks. I hope Jim gets better too.
  12. No just show up in the morning. I think it was available until 10 am... You will get a letter in suite from the concierge that will explain it all. Also, I should have doubled down on what @dwayneb236 said about Happy hour. It is a valuable perk if you don't have the drink package. If you do it is still a nice spot to meet and have a few appy's before dinner. Suite lounge is open all day and has a nice fancy coffee maker that you can get latte's and cappuccino's from. The Happy hour for free drinks is 5pm to 8pm. That is when the appy's are available. There is also a light continental breakfast available in the morning if you don't want to go to Chops. Another nice perk is being escorted off the ship at debarkation. Your Concierge will escort you off the ship and you walk on past the big line waiting to get off the ship.
  13. One of the best perks was breakfast in Chops. Every morning starts so much more civilized that fighting the madding crowds in the Windjammer.
  14. It works really great. I bought 8. Ive got one in my wallet, one on my keys, one on DW's keys, one hidden in my truck, and four in our luggage. I'm a little security conscience since Ive had my truck broken into 3 times. The first time it was stolen the second and third times it was just broken into and they yarded out our luggage.
  15. Definitely worth it to me. I like wearing clean underwear (pants for our UK poster)
  16. They worked great on our last cruise on Navigator. I could see when they moved from the dock to the ship so I knew at sailaway that our luggage was aboard somewhere.
  17. This coming up cruise on Oasis will be our first time on an Oasis class ship and it will be our first experience in a suite on that class of ship as well. We have the UDP so I will let the concierge know what we want for dining in the evenings and embarkation and sea day lunches but I was wondering about Coastal Kitchen. Do we need to reserve there if we intend to eat breakfast or is it just seating as available. Also what about lunch in CK? Does that work the same? I'll probably do Playmakers as often as it is open but was just curious. What about the Globe and Atlas pub? Does that serve food as well? Their menu doesn't show anything. We really enjoyed the Poutine on Odyssey at their pub.
