I was born and raised in Canada. It was my home for 50 of my 56 years. I know something about winter. I have never, to my knowledge, worn a scarf. LOL I don't even think about putting on a hoodie until the mercury hits 45ยฐ. And much colder than that for an actual coat. I remember skiing in -25ยฐ and buying a balaclava... I hated it and threw it away after an hour.

Quantum & Ovation Plus - 30 Day Live (hopefully)

Oh man this has me so stoked for my November Hawaii cruise on POA. We dock in Kahului but the plan is to head over to Lahaina for the day. We overnight there as well. Hulu grill has just been added to the plan. -
I'd book now. When I was on Navigator in September there was no mask wearing on board or on excursions. Only time I put on a mask was in the embarkation hall. They said it was a county of LA rule. I took it off as soon as I was walking up the gangway. Only had the mask on for 15 minutes. On debarkation I grabbed one of the masks they were offering as you got to the bottom of the gangway but upon entering the debarkation hall saw that not a single CBP agent had one on. I took mine off and no one said a thing to me. I suspect that any other port would be different than LA.

Most will come out between November and the end of the year. Follow the thread below for updates...

Thanks, I miss my little buddy. He was the most unique pet I have ever had. He had more personality than any previous dog or cat we've ever owned. Every week or so we stumble across a little something of his, an old toy or leftover bag of litter, that needs to be disposed of. My wife has talked about replacing him but I want to wait until we don't travel for work so much. It's unbelievable how these little guys weave themselves into your emotions.

My brother in law has Parkinson's and has for about 5 years now. He is still able to hunt, fish and drive. He tells me that they have come along way in Parkinson's treatment that help minimize symptoms but they still have a lot more research to do if there is ever to be cure. He is part of walkathon fundraiser that the Parkinson's society does each year that we happily contribute to. They raise an amazing amount money each year. Hopefully one day soon they will have an effective, permanent answer.

Quantum & Ovation Plus - 30 Day Live (hopefully)

My envy meter is off the chart right now. -
We had LA vation (U2) on Odyssey back in February and DSB (Journey) on Ovation in August. All Royal entertainment is now fulling back on now. I'd love to see them bring tribute acts to Voyager and Freedom class ships as well. The Star lounge or equivalent could get way more use than it does.

As a suite guest what did you have access to and what did you have to pay for separately? -

I quite enjoy those. -
I doubt I'll ever do the trip again but you are right it needs to be stretched out over a longer time. DW simply won't fly that long any more. I can't even convince my wife to do a transatlantic or a Norwegian fjords cruise now. I'm hoping for 2026 for my 60th birthday she'll relent and do one of those but I suspecting I'll still be getting resistance.

My longest non-work related trip was 21 days as well. We visited England, Scotland, Norway and France. It felt like a whirlwind. We went to the Dover to experience a coastal English town for three days, then three days in London, then three days in Glasgow. We then flew to Norway for six days. After that it was on to France for six days. Two in Paris and four in the Normandy region. I'd never do that again. I tried to pack way too much in way too little time.
