  1. Yes, that's what been stated multiple times. You have to call in but they will let one purchase the deluxe and one purchase the refreshment package.
  2. Final Payment has passed for our October Mariner cruise and I had some Royal Up bids in - but saw a suite guarantee for a good price from what I paid for our balcony so I snagged that and cancelled the bids. I am 99.9% sure we'll get a JS but it will be awesome if we land a better cabin and we get the double points. The suite guarantee was $1000 pp lower than the JS guarantee so it took some pushing for the rep to find it and apply it. Gone today!
  3. Yes he can share the bottle of wine. You can also each bring one on. I’m presuming you’re booked in separate cabins so only he has to buy the package?
  4. That sale won't end tonight, it goes continuously, and prices fluctuate a bit though I rarely see them lower than when I first look if I'm doing a true apples to apples comparison. RC never does the full bundled price - you may get some of that offered as part of deal with a big box TA or regular TA but don't count on a full bundle.
  5. This, loved that feature on the last cruise we took where we got the Key, but we got it at $19.99 a day, I'd jump at that again, lowest I've seen is $24.99 but I got voom at $15.99 which I haven't seen yet again so it's hard to justify the expense.
  6. The time zone where you will depart from. So Florida is Eastern Standard. Texas is Central.
  7. If you have set time dining (early or late seating) you already have a set time. if she has my-time dining she has to make reservations for each night or so up and use the stand by line. if you want to eat together, call Royal and make sure you both have the same dining set-up by linking your reservations!
  8. I also have fun seeing whatever memo I put on them once I get to the room 🙂
  9. This is what I've used to buy myself 3 GC and apply to our upcoming October cruise as OBC 🙂 No booking info needed to purchase, that is entered when redeemed 🙂
  10. I agree with so much of this! I cancelled one short one booked because airfare looked crazy and switched my Oct 24 to a drivable port. They cancelled my short winter ‘25 one on me. My plan is to take the 2 we have booked and not book anything else until after ours this fall. But likely it will be exploring the US and scouting for where we may want to retire. I’m hoping we still find the cruise like we have in the past, but if not, we’ll explore until we want to try again!
  11. I got one device for $15.99 and have been considered swapping for 2 device if the sale comes back but since I got lucky the best I’ve seen is $16.99 per
  12. Somehow it worked for me and said submitted so no idea!
  13. It worked for me (opened in another tab) - they got my thoughts and may regret it 🙂
  14. The thing I don't want - waterpark is $88.99 for our October cruise. Beach Club just went up to $205pp (have it reserved at a lower price), but still toying between that and one of the beds, but I think I'll just stick to beach club. (and yes I know there are abundant free options).
  15. I like how lightweight it is, and the light, so I can snuggle in and read while everyone else heads to sleep!
  16. Ha, I've done that. And I get VOOM so if I need to download something new I can hotspot my phone!
  17. Not with the refreshment packages since they'll both have them and that package doesn't include alcohol. Truly depends on the drinks - rum and coke or jack and coke - and he gets a coke, easy to set on table and swap... Or if she just buys a shot and pours it in his drink. I expect a slap on wrist so they'd need to be stealthy, but I know it can be done (I remember when my kids were over/under 21. That said too, he'll be able to drink in ports, and may not be much interest on board - or may be where buying the 1/2 liter for the cabin may be a better option.

  19. Mine are all adults but a couple have returned to the nest so we too are doing a kid free 9 night next year while taking advantage of the built in dog care lol!
  20. Only the deluxe requires all adults over 21 to purchase. Refreshment or soda, no.
  21. I’d go ahead and switch ships, yes you are charged $100 per person to switch but everything you’ve paid to date does go towards the new cruise, you’ve just “reduced” it by $200 since that amount is added to your invoice. I switched our sailing for fall 2024 from Galveston to Cape Liberty simply for airfare and all other travel costs (can drive to Cape Liberty). It was easy to switch! I wouldn’t wait to do it on board, there won’t be any additional perks and it may go up in cost.
  22. True but I wouldn’t ever sit where not allowed, it sounded more to me like it was just someone feeling that entitled since the reserved seating for suites and all is not always front and center!
  23. I’d have been the stubborn guest not moving, and gently stating my case if I were in the coveted seat! Sheesh!
  24. You should have a letter from your husband that he is aware you are travelling week one without him and with your son, and I'd recommend getting it notarized. They likely will not ask but with it also being top of mind with the new enforcement, I wouldn't risk it. They have no idea otherwise if your husband is aware you are travelling, if you are estranged from your spouse, divorced, etc. I know it's a PITA (did it for many years when kids were younger) but I also understand why they do it and for me that made it worth the effort.
