I'm curious to learn more about the Adult only club. Last news I heard was from Mr Bayley saying it would be open mid or late 2023. Has there been any updates?

Casino is definitely closed the first night and will close early on the last night. Royal opted not to pay the fee to MD to have casino open while in their local waters. They have to wait until they are out to sea.

We rented from specialneedsatsea.com and their standard scooter 21" wide fit just fine.

My DH had a scooter on our Oasis sailing on 8.28 with 6500 +/- passengers it was very difficult to get an elevator and lots of rude people that would jump ahead of us like we were invisible. That sailing had lots of rude people, large groups of them. If you are sailing at a non peak time it should be better.

I loved beach club when I was there in 2019 and early 2020 but paid $45 to $65 pp back then. One of my future cruises has it for $185 pp and the March 2023 has it for $235 pp. IMO, that is way too much. At these prices I probably only go back if I had lots of OBC or won in the casino😁

I hear ya! We have tenants in our shore house until the Monday after Chowderfest then we will head down for either a week or 2 long weekends. I am hoping we will still have a couple of warm days for the beach in October. We did last year!

IMO, Bermuda is one of the most prepared islands with their building codes, drainage system, etc. From what I see on Bermuda electric company website as of 10 am there was approx. 29,540 homes/buildings without power across in various parishes. We were in Bermuda a couple years ago as they were preparing for a Hurricane that was going to pass by and the people are so nonchalant about it. You should be good to go with your visit to the island for Monday. Just may have a little bit of bouncy ride to get there. Enjoy😃

I woke up at 5:30 to 50 with strong winds. Now 60 f with 15 mph winds. Nice sunny day, but sure is chilly. I don't like this!!!

Based on your photos a lot of work has been since I was there beginning of September. When I was there they didn't have a roof on the walkway yet, that area was roped off. I had no idea the project was as big as the info/photos you provided. Should look amazing and be much easier to walk around town too.

For now they have golf carts. The line can be long depending on how many ships at port.

We are getting a cold spell tonight and tomorrow too. We had 90 earlier this week then mostly mid 80s and dropping to 62 as our high tomorrow. I think we are back to the 80s next week

We recently rented a standard scooter from specialneedsatsea.com (they had the best pricing for our scenario). It fit thru standard door no problem. The problem was trying to open the door yourself when on a scooter, best to have someone there to assist with the door. if you get an accessible cabin most, if not all ships, have a button you press that will open the door, plus other conveniences in the bathroom, closet and I think I heard they have a lower bed too.

Prior to my new job, for 25+ years in the mortgage biz and reviewing bank statements for young couples that want to buy a home and see all the frivolous spending on daily trips to Starbucks, fast food, constant purchases on amazon, phones, streaming, cable tv, etc etc) it makes me realize how frugal (Cheap) I am! But hey if that gets me on more cruises, I'll keep doing it😁
