  1. Sorry trying to just add a bit of humor to an already off the rails thread.
  2. That's such good news. Now you don't have to overload your luggage with a tube of Chap Stick!😊
  3. Don't dwell too much on the OP's post. We all have expectations for cruising decorum I imagine. I guess there is a certain expected class of people with a high degree of sophistication that maybe goes along with the images in the Celebrity ads and commercials. But they still let me on the ship anyway! BTW, I do eat some fried foods on occasion (when DW is not looking!). Last cruise I had severe back problems too (true story) so at times I could barely stand! But I don't smoke and I wear decent clothes to dinner so I guess I get some points for that. Perhaps I will get booted down to RCCL at some point.☺️
  4. You can search here on reviews for S3 Magic Carpet Sky suites on Edge, Apex and Beyond. Most people love them and do not notice the Magic Carpet. It is usually stationary and not in your line of vision.
  5. I wonder what would happen if Celebrity offered a second lobster tail for free, but it was fried ? That would be a dilemma to those fried food naysayers I bet!😃 And no french fries at the Mast Grill? Mutiny for sure.
  6. Not sure why it would upset anybody. It is your experience, perception and opinion. I have cruised a few times post Covid and as recently as 2 months ago in 2023. I have not seen or noticed any of this on any recent cruise. Maybe you had some bad instances but I don't believe (IMO) that this is a general downward trend in passenger behavior. If you are referring to passenger demographics (and I think you are by some of your comments)- that is a very slippery slope.
  7. The lowest price suite is typically an S3 Sky Suite along the Magic Carpet. You could look there now and do the comparison.
  8. Yes GeoBlue is an annual policy that is supplemental health insurance for international travel (multiple land trips and cruises).
  9. There you go again Ken. Presenting the facts. Shame on you. It ruins a good thread!😀 (Although it does say some other counties could be added later (after Feb 2024?).
  10. Cellar Masters usually serves wine, and a limited selection of spirits (bourbon, scotch).
  11. That would have an quite an expensive future beer!
  12. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed Reflection!
  13. Yes the butler always asks on your first meeting what you want in your mini-fridge.
  14. You will be Elite on Celebrity, but that does not get you much additional if you are in a suite. You get most everything anyway. But you will get a free bag of laundry for each of you. But if you are in a higher level suite (above Sky suite or Celebrity suite) you will get additional benefits such as Specialty dining included. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/staterooms/suite-class
  15. Also you can get an extra lobster tail at a Specialty restaurant like Murano without an extra charge.
  16. The World Class Bar serves only specialty drinks from their menu. You cannot get beer, wine or anything else there. Probably not water or soda. You stopped at the one bar on board where this would be an issue. Not an example of poor service IMO. By the way, you could get water in the theatre.
  17. If she needs it, you can also order an electric scooter in advance from a number of companies. It will be inside or outside your cabin when you arrive. Depending on the size.
  18. Maybe in Premium suites like RS and PH. In my experience sailing CS or SS, the minifridges come with water. Last cruise (in a CS) we had to ask for soda and some beer to be added.
  19. Probably a common mistake. But I don't believe it is a scam.
  20. If you are disappointed with Celebrity, will you switch to another cruise line? Which one? Or will you keep being disappointed with Celebrity? Honest question- not being facetious.
