  1. If in a suite, once on board go to the Retreat Lounge and have the concierge book everything for you.
  2. @Georgia_Peaches it looks like you and DH are having a great time! Following along. Your onboard review is excellent and I feel like I am there with you guys. ( I wish!). 😀
  3. A lot of Celebrity suite cruisers like you are switching to Oceania. Other than itinerary and size of ship, I am interested to know how they stack up? What is equivalent to a Sky suite on Oceania? What do you get vs the Retreat suite benefits (and Luminae) on Oceania? Not looking for a comprehensive list- just some key differences if any. Thank you!
  4. Once on the ship go right away to the MDR and speak to the staff out front.
  5. @DCPIV great live posts from the ship. It looks like you enjoyed your cruise! Thanks!
  6. One suggestion. Arrange a private tour and check on your Roll Call to see if anybody wants to join and share the cost.
  7. The OVC at dinner has greatly improved on APEX according to this recent thread. see the video.
  8. Thank you! Neither seems to be associated with Diageo from what I could find. The company making Brugal is Edrington. They also make Macallan amongst other whiskies.
  9. Far more guests on Celebrity have drink packages (premium or classic) than guests on Royal C. So the two lines might have different policies even though owned by the same corporation.
  10. You got your wish very quickly!
  11. I am too sheepish to start one.🐑
  12. Lobster threads are getting as common as Tipping threads here. Surpassed smoking threads.
  13. @Georgia_Peaches so sorry to hear of your airline troubles. Once you get on the ship, this will all be a distant memory hopefully! Best of luck and looking forward to your reports!
  14. Al perhaps you are missing the point? A lot of folks for various reasons occasionally have dinner in the OVC. So @Cap_D was documenting the improvements over what it was earlier in the year.
  15. @Cap_D thank you so much both for the original report and this updated report. Great job. Your original post and the resulting feedback hopefully helped Celebrity to understand the unhappiness with their Jan 1 dinner OVC changes. We sailed EQ Jan 21 and it was pizza and pasta only. If these improvements you show on APEX become fleet-wide, I for one would be very happy. I rarely go to the OVC for dinner but for the selections you now show I could definitely find something to eat for sure. Thanks again!
  16. A few weeks ago they told us that they were working to get Spa appointments to show in the Celebrity app in the calendar. Glad it is there now.
  17. Thanks for reviewing your experience with the RPP. We have generally very little info on it and it is good to know it worked for your situation (as it was designed for that). Much appreciated!
  18. Zacapa has been distributed and marketed by Diageo. Maybe that agreement ended. Unfortunate. Diageo owns Captain Morgan - not a good replacement for Zacapa. They also just announced a new agreement with Don Papa rum (Philippines).
  19. Can you maybe find out the alternative rum offered? Many of us are huge fans of the Zacapa Old Fashioned. Just a few weeks ago on Equinox they were still offering it.
  20. I'm pretty sure you have to call Celebrity (or Celebrity Captain's Club) to get your benefits linked and get a CC number. I don't think there is a way to do this online but others who have done this more recently than me might advise otherwise.
  21. Maybe you are on the list of people they do not want to listen to!😁
  22. Thanks for reviewing and being specific on the selections offered. It all sounds very good to me! I do like flounder, haddock and halibut!
  23. Do you mean the category Celebrity Suites (CS) or just suites in general? In our CS on Equinox (which was partially revolutionized) there was no USB outlet. We bring a three prong adapter (US) to extend our outlet. We then plug our phone or iPad chargers into that. There is a 220V European outlet and you can bring an adapter and use that too for USB devices.
  24. "Strenuous" is totally subjective for each of us. We need to apply common sense and know our own health conditions. Not for a tour-operator to define for you. I guess it does help if others here on CC describe what they found to be strenuous on any given tour but you really do not know their normal level of activity.
  25. I found it to be very good in the public areas too.
