I believe that many at all the cruise lines would love to get back to their original staffing levels but many of the i pediments to this are beyond their control, including delays in getting worker’s visas

Celebrity and Royal are both different cruise lines owned by the same parent company and they do many things different from each other. This just happens to be one of them

Assume you were asking if there is some other event taking place, Not if there is some sort of conspiracy going on. there is nothing going on. They just don’t do the Elite drinks on embarkation nights.

I think you misunderstood. 45 days before the first cruise I do on line checkin, register the credit card, pick arrival time etc. forty-five days before the second cruise I don’t do any of those things. This is all pre-cruise. on board I double check to make sure that I am on the back to back list and after the second cruise starts I reregister the credit card if needed. i never implied that i didnt get a new SeaPass card or that I didn’t settle the first bill at the end of the first cruise

Port calls use the downtown docks, not the terminal used for embarkation/disembarkation.

Might depend on the terminal. Rules for Sydney might not apply in San Juan

Are you certain that they did? We have seen people with oversized suitcases sent back to the curb area to have them taken by porters

On BacktoBacks i don’t check in to subsequent cruises on the app, don’t pick an arrival time and don’t fill out the health questionnaire. All of those things are moot once you are on the first cruise

In Fort Lauderdale you go through security first and then go to the retreat. Same in Boston, security first then with the retreat area.

My database hasn't updated to show those yet. If you see cruises in March 2025, it will be another year from now before the next deployments after those will be announced.

Celebrity equinox will not be going to South America. Celebrity infinity has Cruises into April 2023, then Celebrity eclipse has cruises from December 2023 until March 2024 For Cruises after that, you’ll need to wait to see new deployments be released.

Never checked in for subsequent cruises in a B2B or B2B2B sequence but I always stop at Guest Relations to make sure that everything is in order on the account. Sometimes I need to take a new imprint of the credit card, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes They even need a new photo. No big deal.

Celebrity policy is to service the room twice a day unless you opt into the “go green program “and then it would be once a day but that is your choice.

Did you use a travel agent? They should be able to fix this but DO NOT wait until you are boarding. It will be too late then.

If you arrive early they probably won’t let you in, and it would definitely be too early to board (by half an hour or so) because they will still be cleaning the ship from previous cruise. But don’t fret…..go at your assigned time, join the queue and check-in should be easy. You will be among the first to board the ship. if you have been used to looking for dedicated check in lines for Concierge, Elite, Aqua, etc. you won’t find them. It’s all done by assigned time now.
