    BTW I am sad as I was supposed to be on the Rotterdam today in Bergen Norway. But fears of testing positive outside the country and then being isolated, I canceled and got refund. Nice we have webcams to watch

    true and I am amazed at just how many ships they have done over the last 8 months, watch their video on Disney ship.

    I am baffled as to why you would call out one poster. Seems a bit not nice. BTW I could make a comment about your pages of long photos dumps, but I won't. Just less is better sometimes.

    cute photo. BTW I do not see anything wrong with your posting this. I mean others talk about health, ports and ships they have been on and food photos etc. It takes a while to be accepted on cc sometimes and this thread has different tone at times. And BTW, thanks for NOT doing a large photo dump of many repeating photos. Get my drift.

    I did but then I got over it and came back well sorta. RCI has a thread similar called "how was your lockdown" but it is not a daily just one long 2000 pages of thread and quite a hoot at times.

    yea but Carnival is the butt of a lot of jokes. I sail on RCI and other but I also tells folks the newest Carnival ships are wonderful. I do not like it when on a RCI ship the cruise director makes fun of a smaller Carnival ship that might have been in port or just in general. Bad taste I say.

    Enjoy your cruise. You have twice so far been in the same port as Wonder of the Seas.

    Well all I gotta say is Capt Johnny sure can pick the right weeks for vacation. He was off the ship when the SpaceEx said they had to scrub launch due to a cruise ship. To be fair there were two ships in the area. Still good planning on Capt Johnny's favor

    I hope you do not have too much bad weather today or tomorrow due to all the storms coming diagonally across the country as well as up the coast. Enjoy Bar Harbor tendering and enjoy Halifax. I always go to Peggy's cove. toodles

    this is good to hear because everywhere the blame game is on the rise. Things happen on ships and the poor captain can not take the blame if he did follow procedures. And make note, the Captain was Johnny who has many years with the company and was part of early design and testing teams for Voyager and Freedom class ships.

    poor Carnival always getting bad news. Wish the media will harp on two RCI ships hitting docks. The Radiance of the Seas in Stika, and Harmony of the Seas in Jamaica. I mean come on news, other cruise lines have issues too. Carnival will bounce back though.

    good luck. CVS is confusing as they have a Volunteer section and a non volunteer. One is for PCR and the other is quick test with a nurse. So glad Walgreens is still doing them for free. at least for now. I will mine on June 9th for Allure.

    okay so I just went to deckplans.com and viewed the Spirit, and I like what I saw on the Jungle area. If you like both itineraries, then I would select the Spirit as it looks interesting. this ship may be 20 years old, but was in dry dock last fall.

    I would think by Thursday so you can know the room for luggage. I mean if you have to test for covid on Thursday the least CCL could do is have a room identified for you. I feel your pain and let us know how is ends up. What ship are you going on?

    OMG gotta love clueless folks!!!! not!!!! Sometimes I say to myself "why bother". BTW now I am hungry for a burger, thanks..... I love them on the Vista.

    last minute deal on a cruise can be wiped away by higher air fares and hotels prices. best to get a bargain for a cruise one can drive to.

    yes that is why I had to cancel my Euro vacations as I could not deal with testing negative outside of my country. Would hate to be stuck overseas for a week or so. nope will wait until next year.

    glad that is says antigen but when did NCL go back to the 72 hour rule while all other cruise lines are 48 hours?
