Yes I am quite aware of all the ships that go in and out of NYC BUT going in and out of NYC is a PITA. I vote for expansion of Port Liberty and having ships 4 days a week and more parking. Better and easier for folks driving up from the south or the mid west.

I am on the first cruise in May after the TA and the trip is still in my list of reserved trips. I sure hope it stays after switching from Voyage OTS. I like the idea of 2 ports in Denmark and 2 ports in Norway with overnight is Oslo. I have a feeling they are trying to get itineraries set w/o Russia and I bet other cruise lines are competing for port spaces too. My cruise at least did not include Russia but still a bit concerned that it is not listed. time will tell. Meanwhile keeping an eye on my Quantum cruise in early September and the drama with the engines. Lots going on with RCI as my ADV OTS is not doing Halifax now in late Sept and doing Sydney. So trying to go with the flow.

yes, I agree sometimes the shorter cruises get the party crowd, and it might have been a family or a group issue. From the video posted on "The shiplife" You tube it looked like folks kept trying to join in. For me I wish they would get big burly security officers. I was amazed that nearby people took a while to move away too. I guess some folks cannot handle alcohol, but it also looked like the fight was in promenade near the counters of stuff sold so that could have been the issue. oh well too bad. Not just a CCL issue either.

aw ai see what you mean if you go into cruise planner but for Day 5 if I scroll down it still has my shorex for Juneau. It could be just an error within the column headings of planner. I have not been told my shorex or Juneau has been changed. But I no longer see any glaciers either. time will tell.

what no Juneau either. I though the ship would be okay after mid August. This is disappointing and I feel too many ships are popping up suddenly with issues. I will check out and see what my reservation says as I have not received an email. And a couple of weeks later my Adv OTS is NOT going to Halifax due to port issues and now going to Sydney. Last two Oasis class ships I have done NO broadway shows. Glad I am doing an NCL cruise next week as they have not many any changes so far. time will tell how 2022 is shaking out.

they might increase the number of ships. I think besides Cel and RCI, perhaps NCL or HAL could cruise out of Bayonne if the market was there. Heck even a Disney ship would be great. Other ports are expanding so building another garage would provide nicer parking. Next year Liberty of the Seas which is bigger than Adv OTS is coming. And a lot of us would who are not on Oasis or Anthem would love another covered garage.

I mean the fire was interesting. Now I hear some cruises in August have changed port due to engine issues. My cruise in Aug 29th and hoping for the best. And again hoping ya all recover. I will continue to wear masks on ships like have done so far this year on Oasis class out of FLA

aw that is good to know as I have medicare supplement which did pay for CVS back in April before I switched to Walgreens. I just like the print out Walgreens does and will use on Friday. It will be interesting to see if they want me to pay up front and I chase down Medicare AARP, or if they bill Medicare and I wait for any balance due. The website does say customer has to settle with insurance but not sure if Medicare counts.

I am on the May cruise for 7 days to Norway and Denmark and it is in the planner with all the correct information. This was transferred over from Voyager. Perhaps RCI is waiting to decide on how Russia ports are doing. Otherwise I too am wondering and will my May cruise be yet again changed.

well CVS makes you make an appointment with the nurse and go into store. They take Blood Pressure and chat a while and then you get the quick test and result in the store before you leave. The price is similar to Walgreens which still just wants you to sit in car for the test. So price wise almost the same but Walgreens appears to me to be less hassle. For now I will use Walgreens and hop the pre testing will end by Oct if not sooner. Right now more concerns on weather and airplane shortage of crew. It is always something these days and so paying for a test is fine with me for now. Just want a plane to show up and take to me port city.

Over on NCL someone on the ship said the captain took a more narrow exit instead of the main and wider path the ship used to enter the fjord. So it could be captain's fault.

aw glad to know this. most folks have said good things about emed, but this new company not so sure I would be interested. One HAL ship is stopping precruise testing in Amsterdam for 3 cruises as a test. But then again, they mention the age of the booster has to be under 9 months. Honestly information on testing iws a moving target and tiring.

I would concerned if my booster was over 9 months old and did not catch the wording and showed up. So now the going forward issue with ships might be booster and age of booster.

I would vote for Magic given the ports. and then next year do the Horizon as it is a new ship

well someone on the staff said they got food poisoning in Cozumel. I was suspicious since food poisoning usually fine after 3-4 days. and some of the other rumors were throat issues and dancers quit. I mean the CD should have just told us. Very sneaky but then an usher in theatre told me CD falls under the Hotel Director division. oh well. makes 2 big shows I did not get to see this year, Mamma Mia, and Hairspray. Only only left will be Cats in Oct and ain't I lucky

well it was great while it lasted. wondering why Walgreens won't wait until July 14th to start charging? and yes the damn testing needs to stop since we all can fly on planes with no vaccine requirement and masks.

I was on June 11-19 and whilst I had reservations for mostly all the shows except Mamma Mia which was not playing that week due to cast mystery illness, most of the other shows the stand by line was good enough. Towards the end of cruise they even stopped checking for times. BUT, still make a reservation for comedy club even though they do a show in the theater at the end as well. One can stand at the back of the Aqua show and also enjoy as well.
